No audio on Facebook videos?

Hey,
Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong sub, but does anyone have a second to help me out?
I'm running into a weird issue where Facebook videos have absolutely no sound. Everything works perfectly fine on my phone—audio is crisp and clear there—but when I try to watch videos on my desktop... nothing. Just silence.
The strange part is that everything else works just fine; whether I'm watching YouTube or just listening to music on my computer, the audio is totally normal. It's strictly an issue with Facebook.
Any idea what I should do to fix this? Thanks, everyone.

I think it’s just how Facebook is set up, but for some reason, the audio always starts muted—so you basically have to manually crank up the volume in the video player every single time.
