We've got an event lined up for this weekend, though just a heads-up, the broadcast schedule shifts from Sunday over to Monday.

Last year, Medeiros put on one of those absolute bangers against that Brazilian cowboy, 🙏 and now he’s looking to hunt down another cowboy, only this time, he's going after an American one. 😁

Yancy "The Cowboy Hunter" Medeiros 😁

It looks like a solid card, honestly; there are some pretty interesting matchups on the slate.

The preliminary card kicks off at 11:30 PM (Sunday).
The Main card starts at 3:00 AM (Monday morning).

We'll have Brendan Fitzgerald and Jimmy Smith handling the commentary for this one.

Yeah, the Black Beast is making his comeback 😁 and honestly, he was even talking about retirement for a bit there, especially with those nagging back issues he was dealing with. He actually put together this incredible run—a 6-0 streak—which, if you think about it, is insanely difficult to pull off in the heavyweight division, but then Hunt came along and snapped that momentum.

Tybura is stepping back into the cage following that loss to Werdum.

I'll definitely be tuning into this one; I've always found Cowboy to be an intriguing fighter. And even though Lewis can get a bit tedious sometimes, he's still someone I want to see. I'm honestly holding out hope that he eventually gets a shot at Nganno.

Cowboy is an absolute legend, honestly one of those fighters you just can't take your eyes off of when he's in the cage 🙏 he really only seems to drop fights against the elite tier, though I guess we saw how Till managed to catch him off guard last time. It seems like Cowboy just isn't a fan of getting pressured or stuck against the fence, which is pretty much exactly what Till did to him in that fight.

In my opinion, Cowboy is a much more well-rounded fighter than Medeiros, who is your typical Hawaiian brawler—the kind of guy who just wants to trade shots regardless of the consequences 🙏 there's zero math involved in his style, so I'm betting this main event is going to be an absolute blast to watch 👍

Man, what an absolute bloodbath of a preliminary card 🙏. You seriously need to go back and watch the replays; out of six fights, five ended in first-round finishes 🙏, and honestly, the one single fight that actually went to a decision was probably the most boring bout on the whole night 👍

Anyway, the main card is finally getting underway...

Texas is basically going to turn into Brazil 😁

That was such an incredible event; I honestly had a blast watching. There were just so many stoppages and some seriously interesting matchups to dive into.

Cowboy now has 20 wins in the UFC, which puts him right on par with Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre. That stat feels even more insane when you consider he’s only been in the UFC since 2011—seriously, massive props to him 🙏 and man, seeing how Black Beast managed to flip the script... I mean, who would've guessed he'd still have enough gas in the tank to pull off a stoppage in the third round? 🙏

Huge props to Cowboy, I was really crossing my fingers for him to pull this one off. Honestly, after the opening bell, I started getting a little nervous, but he eventually found his rhythm and it became pretty obvious how this was going to go down. Yancy was just being way too naive; instead of slowing things down to catch his breath at the end of the round, he decided to double down and charge forward. 😬

Black Beast 🙏
I can't even remember the last time I watched such a dominant round in the heavyweight division. 🍿
But look, Black Beast is definitely going to have to tighten up his grappling game. If he ends up facing a high-level specialist like Fabricio Werdum, he’s going to be in serious trouble. 🤷

Arlovski vs Browne? That first-round brawl 😁 was basically like watching Fedor Emelianenko vs Maldonado
—actually, better not even go there, it was just a straight-up bar fight, haha! And besides,
we aren't even talking about the UFC here.

Man, I feel for Jailton Tyra, what a bummer. This was his golden ticket to start climbing towards the
heavyweight elite, but it’s looking like he might not quite have that extra gear needed for the top tier. He’ll probably just hover somewhere around the TOP
10... that's just the reality of it.

As for Sage, that was pretty underwhelming; he kind of just scraped by. He’s got a massive amount of work to do. I do like the kid, though—he seems solid, and I truly believe he’s got a bright future if he stays
relentless and keeps grinding.

What an incredible event! Honestly, I had such a blast watching this one. There were so many breaks in the action and just a ton of super interesting matchups to keep things spicy.

Twenty wins and he hasn't even held a belt yet, which is wild to think about. He really only had that one big shot
against Edson dos Anjos, but he couldn't quite pull it off.

@boldridge22/">@@boldridge22 - I was actually thinking along the same lines as Susan Sullivan6 when it comes to reminding everyone about that Arlovski vs Browne round 😛 though I think we should probably mention that first fight between Hunt and Bigfoot too, because honestly, there would be plenty of candidates for the longest round in history from that one as well. 🙏

Cowboy got a good victory, I suppose, but unfortunately, I just don't see him ever grabbing that belt 🤷 though he definitely has a shot at breaking that win streak record.

Jailton Tyra really caught me off guard; I honestly expected him to wrap things up way before the fight even hit the third round. He’s mostly on himself here, I guess, since it looks like he might just lack that heavy-hitting KO power and this might just be his ceiling 🤷 which really ties back into what boldridge22 was saying about the top 10 rankings.

As for the heavyweight matchups, if I were to pair them up right now, I'd go with:
Jailton Tyra vs Tai Tuivasa
Lewis vs Ngannou
Blaydes vs Alistair

Yeah, Sage let me down too. Even though he's only 21, whenever you watch him, you can't help but feel like he's capable of doing so much better than that..

Yeah, that one was alright, I guess, but this fight? This was on a whole different level. Aside from that one shot from Travis, it felt like such a dynamic, well-rounded battle. You had everything—striking exchanges, transitions, grappling scrambles... it wasn't just one-dimensional at all. 🎉

Man, there were so many momentum shifts in there, if I recall correctly—it felt like a 2-2 split in the first round. First, Lewis gets an edge, then Tybur manages to take control on the ground, but then Lewis scrambles back up, and before you know it, Tybura is turning the tables again. It was actually pretty 👍
