I honestly don't know what that guy's personal vendetta against me is about, especially since he already slapped me with a random ban over at LJS once before.
Then yesterday, he swings by and hands me a red card over some totally trivial topic, while everyone else involved in the whole thing gets a free pass.

So today I open up this thread
which is basically just a standard way people play games on tons of international forums. I can provide more links if necessary. But instead, he shuts it down without even giving an explanation.

I’m asking that he stays away from us in the off-topic section, because the guy doesn't get the vibe of this subforum, isn't objective, and frankly, isn't even interesting. If the goal is to have someone here who just uses random moderator tools once a day, I could probably just write a script for you guys to automate it.

The clone mods are actually better. At least they go after everyone equally, so you always know where you stand. When the heavy fire starts, everyone catches it.

I was honestly just about to tell 🙂 Gregory Peterson2 that he’d be getting a reality check 🙄
once this thread gets locked.

You got banned at LJS because I misread some data. It was nothing personal toward you, and I already apologized for making that mistake.

Gregory Peterson2 said:Then yesterday he shows up and gives me a strike over some totally trivial topic, while everyone else involved gets a free pass.

My take is that you were the only one who crossed the line. Everyone else stayed within bounds. If you think I handled it poorly, feel free to vent!

Yeah, a thread where we tell other users and mods they're going to get wrecked. Of course he locked it! 🙄Be glad you didn't get a full ban for that thread.

The clone mods are better. At least they go all out on everyone, so you know exactly where you stand. When they start firing, everyone gets hit!

🙂 You're being so harsh!

Richard Nelson84, you're missing the mark here.
You aren't being objective at all when it comes to handing out bans.

Specifically, you told me personally to report insults instead of responding myself. But not a single report I’ve ever filed has actually resulted in a ban or even a warning.

I honestly think your role here needs a serious second look. The other mods are way more fair; if something happens, they just penalize everyone involved and nobody complains, even if it feels a bit harsh sometimes. But you? You openly target specific people and show this blatant bias. It makes the people you pick on look like the troublemakers just because they're standing up for themselves... which isn't even true.

I don't recall you ever once replying to a DM asking why someone got banned, whereas the other mods communicate in such a polite, civil way and always give an answer.

And this thread was actually great, so I have no clue why you shut it down...

You aren't being objective at all when you hand out cards.

If that's how you feel, then file a formal complaint with specific examples so the admin or the mods can actually look into it. Just making random accusations like this isn't going to get us anywhere.

I honestly think your role down here needs a serious second look. The other mods are much more impartial; when things get messy, they just penalize everyone involved so there’s no room for complaints—even if it feels a bit harsh sometimes. But you? You openly single people out and show clear bias.

I don't recall ever seeing you reply to a private message asking why someone was banned, whereas the other mods handle those inquiries with total professionalism and actually give an answer.

Besides, this thread was actually great, so I have no idea why you felt the need to shut it down.

I have to disagree regarding Richard Nelson84; I find him to be an objective and solid moderator.

I'll just attach this post as a follow-up to your point.👍

Bonnie and Clyde are at it again 😍 👏👏

Richard Nelson84 is doing his job as a moderator, and frankly, he deserves credit for locking a thread where people were openly threatening violence 👍 just typical high-strung American temperaments 😍 🤣

Please, let me be clear: my decision to enroll was made in good faith. I truly believe that Hannah Brown7 deserves the title of "magnificent," given the discernment, sophistication, and impeccable manners evident in her posts. 👍 It is something I admire with my entire heart and soul. Consequently, please do not involve me in this matter or attempt to use me as an example, please.

I don't have an issue with that.
I just showed you exactly what I'm talking about...

As far as I remember, you hit me with two strikes back-to-back last week because of what I wrote in that thread (and weirdly enough, both were about Hannah, who's right here):

"Hannah Osica"

"Hannah Jealousy"

That cost me 70 points total before I got banned for commenting on the moderation, which I can live with...

Now I'll list some other examples. We could start with Scott Miller5's insults, or are you trying to tell me it's somehow less offensive than calling someone this:

I don't mind addressing these nonsense claims, but either stay out of it or actually act like a real moderator...

Richard Nelson84 said:If you ask me, you’re the only one who actually crossed the line here. Everyone else played it straight. Now, if you really feel like I handled things poorly, hey, you’re entitled to your opinion. Go ahead and vent if you need to!

Yeah, I’m complaining. I really am. But honestly? You handled this poorly, just like you always do. It’s the same old pattern: instead of actually tackling the root cause, you just go after the symptoms. It’s like trying to fix a leaky faucet by mopping up the floor—you're dealing with the mess, but the water is still spraying everywhere! Same mistake, different day.

Yeah, let's talk about that thread where we can all reach out to the other members and the mods to let them know what's up! You’re gonna get exactly what's coming to you! It's like when you ignore the "Check Engine" light in your Ford for three months and then suddenly find yourself stranded on the shoulder of I-95. You can't run from the consequences forever! Karma's got a way of catching up, just like a slow-moving storm rolling in over the Midwest. You reap what you sow, plain and simple.Oh, absolutely. No doubt about it! 🙄 Take it on the bright side—you actually dodged a bullet and didn't get flagged for that thread!

How on earth can you be so sure I’m actually directing that at someone? Honestly, I haven't even addressed anyone specifically, and frankly, it isn't your place to sit in judgment of my intentions. It’s like someone trying to referee a game when they aren't even on the field! The topic itself is completely legitimate and doesn't break a single rule on the books.

🙂 Man, you are being absolutely ruthless!

Save the melodrama for someone else in Chicago, because you aren't fooling me. 🙂

Hannah Brown7 said:If I recall correctly, I got hit with two warnings back-to-back last week because of what I wrote in this thread (and strangely enough, both were aimed at Hannah, who is right here):

"Hannah Osica"

"Hannah Jealousy"

That cost me a total of 70 points from you, followed by a ban for my comment to the moderation team, which I accept.

There’s nothing weird about those warnings. You absolutely earned them. You actually got 60 points from me, not 70.

But it is funny how you conveniently forgot that Maria Johnson also got exactly 60 points from me.

Hannah Brown7 said:Now let me bring up some other examples. We could start with Scott Miller5's insults, or do you really want to claim it's worse to call someone an Osica:

http://www.americanforum.com/showpost.php?p=6...postcount=8498

http://www.americanforum.com/showpost.php?p=6...postcount=8501

http://www.americanforum.com/showpost.php?p=6...postcount=8510

I can easily debunk this nonsense, but either stay out of it or act like a real moderator.

Calling someone an Osica isn't an insult, and you didn't get a warning for insulting anyone. I don't see any insults in any of these posts.

Also, I had two choices: either warn everyone (including you, Daria, and Scott Miller5) or just issue a warning to stop the bickering in this thread. I chose the latter because I didn't think anyone had crossed the line yet. But for a final verdict, wait for the Admin or the site owner to weigh in; they'll make the final call.

Gregory Peterson2 said:How do you know I wasn't saying that seriously to anyone? I wasn't directing it at anyone, and you aren't in a position to judge my intentions. This thread is perfectly legitimate and doesn't break any rules.

I have no interest in arguing further about closing this thread. My stance remains the same. For a final decision, you'll have to wait on the Admin or the site owner.

Richard Nelson84 said:There’s nothing weird about those warnings. You earned them, fair and square. By my count, you got 60 points from me, not 70.

Well, isn't that funny? It seems you conveniently forgot that Maria Johnson also received exactly 60 points from me.

Look, calling someone Osica isn't an insult, and you definitely didn't get a warning for being offensive. I've looked through these posts, and honestly, I don't see any insults here at all.

Plus, I really only had two ways to play this: either hand out warnings to everyone—which would include you, Daria, and Scott Miller5—or just drop a note asking everyone to stop bickering in the thread. I went with the second option because, in my view, nobody actually crossed the line. But hey, if you want a final ruling, just wait for the site admins or the head mods to weigh in. They'll have the last word.

I’m not interested in getting into a back-and-forth about why this thread was locked. My mind is made up. You'll just have to wait for the admin or the lead mod to make the official call.

And honestly, you just proved exactly why you shouldn't be a moderator.
Since apparently "Osica" is grounds for a warning, but "bezmudi" isn't.

But what can I say? Mr. Always Right is still standing, regardless of what the mods or admins decide. 🙂

Well, funny how you seem to have forgotten that Maria Johnson also got 60 points from me too...

Osica isn't an insult, and you didn't get a warning for being offensive. I don't see any insults in any of these posts...

So you're saying I deserved a warning just because I wrote "Hannah Osica," but then you claim it wasn't an insult?
I got flagged for breaking forum rules.
Can you actually tell me which rules I broke and what I did that others aren't doing, since I'm apparently headed for a ban?...

And isn't this also a violation of the rules?

I had two choices—either warn everyone (including you, Daria, and Scott Miller5) or just put out a warning for everyone to stop bickering in the thread. I went with the second option because I didn't think anyone crossed the line yet. But for the final call, just wait for the moderator or the admin to make the ultimate decision...

.

Fine, so now please just point out exactly which rule I violated during this discussion? I clearly pointed out the offensive posts here, so could you just show me one of mine that actually breaks the rules or counts as an insult and deserves a warning?...

Just to clear up any potential confusion here—this is all volunteer work. We aren't glued to our computers twenty-four hours a day, which is why things occasionally veer off track—a recurring issue on the PZK forums, if I'm being honest. These specific decisions were made by Richard Nelson84 simply because he was the first one to spot the reports and react to them. It wasn't some grand collective consensus or a reflection of what the rest of us think; it was just a matter of timing.

I honestly think moderation should be about sticking to the facts rather than letting feelings or personal biases take over. That’s the whole point of having mods in the first place. That’s why I’m asking for some clarity on these issues, and I've laid out all my arguments too.

I feel like I have every right to ask for an explanation...

So, can someone please explain why Scott Miller5's insults are being tolerated all day long?

And how am I supposed to handle this if I can't even defend myself without getting banned, while nobody seems to do anything about the reports I submit...

Jason Brown5 said:Just so we’re all on the same page here—this is all volunteer work. We aren't glued to our computers 24/7, so things tend to spiral in the wrong direction sometimes, which seems to be a recurring theme over at PZK. This specific call was made by Eugene simply because he happened to see the reports first and acted on them. It wasn't some grand decree from him personally; the rest of us weren't even part of that decision.

Does everyone really think exactly the same way, like you're all part of some hive mind? 😳

Scott Miller5 said:Unfortunately, you aren't the first person I've clashed with on this forum. Between Hannah's bans, LSD, and the rest, everyone has felt how you have this subtle, feminine way of provoking people—insulting others through sarcasm wrapped in velvet gloves. It's all very pretty and packaged, but I see right through it. I know exactly who the real problem is here, and I hope the admin team does too.

Honestly, this post says way more about you than anyone else. You seem to have a perfect memory for who starts the drama and who eventually stands their ground. But then again, what can you expect from someone with such "high morals" who goes around sharing people's private photos in DMs? I know exactly who I'm dealing with the moment I hear something like that. And trust me, others know too. 👍

Richard Nelson84 made this call because he was the first one to see the reports and jump on them. It’s not like it's his personal opinion versus everyone else's.

The only ones heading in the wrong direction are you admins. Why even bother babysitting this nonsense? You can clearly see it's a total waste of time and completely pointless.

You banned Sarah for being an Osica and Hannah Jealousy 🤦, and then went after me just for calling a user spineless. Why not just rename the thread to "Say Something Nice About a User"?

If someone actually had the guts to find a loophole for posting NSFW stuff when it was strictly banned, why can't Nica and the current crew have the vision to just leave one corner where people can actually say what they think about each other?

Since we already kicked off a thread like this once, I can't help but wonder what's going on with this specific post?

Is anyone actually allowed to reply to this, and if so, could someone please walk me through how?
Also, is using "Osica" still considered breaking the forum rules?

Look, this isn't the place for everyone to start bickering with one another.
If you've got an issue with a penalty or a card you received, please head over to the dedicated appeals thread. Since the moderator has already given their final word on this, I'm locking the thread now. We’ll jump back in if we absolutely have to.
