cosmicgull52 said:I don't really follow the Libertarian Party threads, but I just felt like jumping in to say that based on what’s been written here and in that closed appeal, both of those forum users basically deserve a lifetime ban from using the internet altogether. Seriously, why don't we have life moderators? 😁

😁

I'm fully aware that these kinds of little squabbles usually end up exactly like this—where everything just gets cut short and everyone gets punished equally, including the person who actually called out the issue in the first place.

Honestly, my colleague is actually playing into this tactic and seems to be hoping for it, which is why he jumped on that suggestion so fast. It feels like he has some weird mission to get me wiped out, and then he'll probably just keep going under a different profile.

I honestly have no clue what I could have possibly done to earn any kind of permanent ban. I'm not stalking anyone, I'm not telling people to disrupt discussions, and I'm certainly not running around lying or slandering anyone.

And the thing is, I’ve documented everything that’s been happening over on the Politics board caused by this same guy.

Now, he's trying to spam this thread with the exact same energy just so someone will swoop in and shut the whole thing down, just like what you're suggesting. Don't think for a second that it would catch me off guard if that happened.

Christian Torres3 said:Yeah, it’s pretty much like those Libertarian Party activists who just flood every single thread with spam regardless of the topic, but hey, we won't get into that, right? Because they're clearly so witty, unpredictable, and super constructive.

Look, I totally get that anyone can find someone else annoying or irritating. And honestly, the fix for that is dead simple—just hit ignore.

But there is a massive difference between that and stalking someone, replying exclusively to one person's posts, openly egging others on to disrupt discussions and make them unreadable, or stubbornly peddling some slanderous lie without providing a shred of evidence—that is a completely different ballgame.

And most importantly, it's a blatant violation of the forum rules.

At the end of the day, this isn't about choosing sides between our crowd and yours, or between Libertarian Party supporters and their critics; it's really just about choosing between basic human decency and being a jerk.

Are you seriously ready to side with a stalker, a slanderer, and someone who's actively trying to derail the conversation just because they share your political views?

Do you actually believe my claim that I offered money to EVERYONE writing against the Libertarian Party, and that some people even got rich off my cash?

Besides, since you're also posting against the Libertarian Party, does that mean based on my "confession" that you've personally received such an offer from me too?

The real solution isn't showing up at a town hall crying about being persecuted🤣...

rapidfox26 said:The only shameful thing here is you throwing insults without any proof—meanwhile, I don't even need evidence because you basically admitted everything I'm saying right in black and white.

It’s also pretty embarrassing that you cut me off completely in an earlier post, only to come back and reply to me now... quite the turnaround.

Typical behavior from the Libertarian Party and Jane Doe... really. 👍

The burden of proof is on you since you're the one making the accusation—just like how the prosecution carries the load in a US courtroom—and his "admission" was clearly just satire.

Honestly, I'd love to see some actual proof via /pm/ so we could settle this in court once and for all... granitetinker6 agrees we need to see the evidence, so feel free to lay it out.

Just like Bobby’s notarized affidavit 🙏

Sector Style at its absolute finest 🙏

Sorry, I don't recognize your party's authority—you guys have shown us exactly who you are plenty of times already ☕

But wait, there's more! My ironic little confession actually went even further—I "admitted" to offering cash to every single critic of the Libertarian Party, and some of them actually made a pretty decent living off it.

So, logically speaking, we should have a whole crowd of witnesses out there—basically anyone who has ever criticized the Libertarian Party—who could back up my story, right? Since I "confessed" to offering money to everyone.

But of course, we don't have a single one.

Just the other day, this one Forum Member told me I was basically Bishop Košić because of some stuff I said. And what did I do? I leaned into the joke and ironically agreed, telling him he totally called me out. So now, that guy should probably add it to his bio: "Forum Member is actually Bishop Vlado Košić, which he himself admitted."

Honestly, the whole thing is just bizarre and totally wild, isn't it? It's kind of embarrassing that someone would even let this level of stupidity become part of the conversation in the first place...

Why is rapidfox26 dodging the evidence for so long? — the whole bribery accusation just falls apart without it...

Short and sweet.

So, is it actually okay on this forum to accuse other members of stuff without any proof? I'm just looking for some clarification so I know if I'm breaking the rules by accusing someone of a crime—like attempted bribery, which is definitely illegal under US law—if I don't have hard evidence ready to go...
rapidfox26, if you haven't reported granitetinker6 or filed a formal complaint with the US authorities regarding a crime, then you're basically an accomplice...

rapidfox26, look, private messages are strictly confidential, and you really shouldn't be dragging their contents out here onto the public forum. If someone is being abusive, provoking you, or breaking any of our community rules through DMs—please, just hit that little report icon just like you would with a regular post. I don't want to see any more accusations against other users regarding what they’ve sent you in private, especially if you haven't officially reported it first. If this keeps happening, I’ll have to view it as a serious violation of the rules and either call for a ban or issue one myself. Also, I think you realize that when you pull a single sentence out of context, it loses its original meaning entirely, so please stop using those snippets to twist someone's words—that can also be considered a rule violation.

granitetinker6, you claim you've never filed a report, yet here you are, suddenly burying us under a mountain of them! That isn't how we operate, and frankly, we can't possibly track every single thing that happened and when. You have the reporting tool right there—just use it. Trying to dig through everything that happened in the past to figure out who said what to whom is way too much work; we simply don't have the time for it, nor does it align with our guidelines since we avoid retroactive moderation unless it's absolutely necessary. On top of that, your constant posting in the politics section could easily be seen as campaigning for a party. I'm not quite sure why you're doing it, but if you intend to keep writing like this, you might want to consider setting up a verified profile; it's free, unlike the sponsored options. Even promoting a political party has its limits, and you're hovering dangerously close to crossing that line—I'll leave it to the moderators to make the final call on that.
