The Game Changers is a documentary exploring how the standard American diet impacts both our bodies and the planet. It digs into how the meat, dairy, and big pharma industries lobby relentlessly to keep laws skewed toward their bottom line—and which organizations are pulling the strings. Why aren't doctors properly trained on the link between nutrition and wellness? Didn't Hippocrates suggest that the physician of the future would treat people through food alone? Chronic issues common in the US, like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and various cancers, are deeply rooted in what we eat and how we live; many could be prevented, slowed, or even reversed by shifting to a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle. Its high rating speaks for itself, and it’s already inspired countless people to embrace veganism. 🙂

So, I just sat through one of those documentaries, you know the type, and honestly? It’s enough to make you want to throw out everything in your pantry. The whole premise was basically that all our food is toxic and the only real solution is to just stop eating entirely. 🙄

Haha, vegan food just isn't real food.

Edward Price6 said:Funny. So vegan food isn't actually food.

I don't follow. Are you telling me fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, mushrooms, and nuts aren't food? What are you supposed to be—a tiger? A hyena?

Excellent! I am currently watching... I'm actually transitioning toward a vegan lifestyle. We'll see how it goes. I haven't eaten red meat in years, and white meat or fish is just occasional at best... plus, I avoid dairy as much as possible (I've swapped out cow's milk for various plant-based alternatives).

Some people will watch this and just dismiss it as another passing trend, while others will truly stop to reflect. Ultimately, there is a healthier alternative for everything... one that benefits our bodies, the animals, and the environment.

If I don't eat meat, I'm just hungry
Must be nice being able to live like that
