The main reason we lost was pure exhaustion.

It’s honestly ridiculous that those two games were scheduled less than 24 hours apart. From an organizational standpoint, it was a complete disaster.

Of course, the comment sections are currently flooded with people mocking Babić and bringing up his faith. The liberal media outlets went out of their way to nitpick his religiousness, blowing his devotion out of proportion just to make him an easy target for public backlash.
Now, we're stuck dealing with the fallout, where almost every single comment is just some recycled mockery of that topic.
It's classic media manipulation, playing on the prejudices of an uninformed crowd.

And finally, most importantly—congratulations Canada! Way to go on the medal.

Yeah, we saw it. Mihić, Matulić, Mandalinić, Jotić, and Pešić were basically stumbling around the field by the end of the game. They couldn't even stay on their feet, I guess.

Sorry, but this whole "we were too tired" excuse is straight out of a fairy tale. It’s a convenient way to spin a total disaster, but let's be real—it's got zero truth to it.

So, here are the stats from the game.

Look at the Americans—almost every single player saw the floor for at least 10 minutes, except for two guys where one played 7 minutes and the other didn't even step on the court.

Now look at our guys—we had two players who didn't play a single second and two others who barely got 4 minutes.

If the squad was supposedly "exhausted," then why the hell did Štrlek and Zlatko log 56 and 57 minutes respectively, and Duvnjak clock 45? Why didn't the coach pull them in the 40th minute when we were up by 8 to bring in some fresh legs to hustle and protect the lead while the stars caught their breath? What's the point of calling those guys up if you aren't actually going to use them? The Americans rotated perfectly, but we just sat there...

Fatigue? Please. Someone explain to me how being tired matters when you've got 4, maybe even 5 (Mamić) guys sitting on the bench like waiting rifles, and you refuse to sub out the "tired" starters even when we have an 8-point cushion?

Look, maybe fatigue was a factor, and yeah, the schedule is absolute garbage and gave us a massive handicap, but that’s not why we lost this game. We lost because we didn't touch our bench. Period. We lost because the coach is throwing out these empty cliches about being tired while he has fresh talent right there that he refuses to use—for heaven's sake, just give the big guys five damn minutes of rest! But no, just keep playing until they collapse. Yeah, we earned this loss through pure stupidity.

If the coach isn't to blame, then I guess he should go blame the lady luck or the angels or whatever. That’s his style. He deserves every bit of mockery, even from our own mindless media. He brought this on himself—keep your "faith" to yourself instead of dropping these sermon-like statements like you're Moses instead of giving the actual professional analysis you're paid for. Go ahead and vent like everyone else, but bringing up things that have nothing to do with the game... sorry, but you're getting laughed at for a good reason.

We should probably just keep Željko Babić as coach—actually, let’s go a step further and hand him a silver rosary so he can sit on the sidelines praying instead of actually watching the flow of the game. He seems to have a real knack for calling time-outs exactly when we gain momentum, effectively giving the opposition a much-needed breather. And why stop there? When we’re up by a significant margin, we absolutely must sub in the most exhausted and battered players on the roster—it’s the perfect way to ensure the opponent can flip the script. Of course, when it comes to those high-stakes penalty shots, we need to pick a player who knows the opposing goalie intimately from their club days, just to make sure they miss. As for our tactical setup, let's stick with the seven-on-six strategy; it creates such delightful chaos in the paint that it practically invites the other team to intercept the ball and walk into an empty net during a fast break. Truly brilliant stuff.

I'm really hoping the French side gives those Norwegians a good thrashing today. If Norway pulls this off, people are going to start acting like we almost knocked out the reigning World Cup champs or something...

I'm pulling for those Norwegian guys—honestly, they played the most beautiful handball of the whole tournament. I'm a little worried the French might be too much to handle, but come on, Go Norway... let's get that gold! ☕

I’m looking forward to a nail-biter. I’d love to see the Norwegians pull off a win, but honestly, it’s going to be an uphill battle.

It looks like the US finally stumbled upon the perfect lineup to take on France in the finals.👍
Honestly, I kind of want France to just win it all—you know, just to wrap up this whole era of dominance and prove they really are the greatest dynasty of all time.
It’s actually pretty cool seeing how much they have each other's backs; players out there actually giving everything for their country. It's the kind of thing everyone else should be aiming for, I guess.🙂

Omeyer—it’s coming from everywhere at once, an absolute barrage.

The Frenchmen simply can't keep up with this pace.

Edward Allen36 said:Man, Omeyer was getting hit from everywhere—sideways, blindside, you name it. He just couldn't catch a break.

The Frenchies just aren't ready for this kind of pace.

I mean, if Team USA had made it to the finals, Omeyer probably would've racked up five blocks by now.

Tonnensen’s basically got a holster in his hand at this point.
