WiFi indicator light is showing the wrong status

Basically, when the WiFi is actually turned on, the light glows orange—which basically means it's off—but when I switch it off, it turns white, signaling that the WiFi is supposedly active.

I know it’s probably not a huge deal, but man, it’s just super annoying and honestly pretty confusing.
Is this some weird software glitch, or did the guy at the repair shop just mess up the wiring when he was fixing it?

looks like there might be a short or a bad connection somewhere. You could probably just pop the cover off and swap them around... see if that fixes it.
