I am somewhat unsure if I have selected the right thread for this particular inquiry, so if I am mistaken, I would be most grateful if a moderator could kindly move my post to the appropriate section.

To provide some context, my PC isn't exactly top-of-the-line, though it seems to perform adequately enough when I am playing World of Warcraft or World of Warships
but then, right in the middle of a session, everything just freezes up and displays this error message; it doesn't happen quite every single time, but I suppose it occurs roughly every thirty minutes or so.

Initially, I was under the impression that perhaps the graphics card was the culprit, so I went ahead and purchased a newer, more powerful one, but even with the upgrade, the issue persists, so I guess I am reaching out to see if anyone might have some advice or guidance to offer.

I can't access the image—could you try sharing it a different way? 🙂

I suppose I can't seem to find any way to change the settings, or maybe I'm just missing something obvious, but it mostly seems to involve some sort of virtual memory configuration

it keeps throwing this error: Failed to create vertex buffer ():direct3D does not have enough display memory to perform the operation

I've been trying to read up on how this virtual memory stuff works, though, since I'll admit I'm not exactly a tech expert when it comes to PC hardware, I'm feeling a bit lost on what steps I should actually be taking

I was doing some digging online, and it looks like your system might be crashing because the game is just devouring all your RAM until everything hits a wall.

Check this out—someone posted a fix for that exact issue you're dealing with. Hopefully, the English isn't too much of a hurdle for you. Good luck!

I found a potential fix over here that some guy discovered for this exact issue, though I suppose it depends on how comfortable you are with reading English, but good luck with it!

Unfortunately, I don't think that's actually the culprit in my case, because I still have about 3.5GB of free memory available, and even after trying that specific fix, nothing really changed.

Maybe give your paging file a little boost.
Just right-click on my PC—you know, "This PC"—and head into Properties> then grab those Advanced system settings. Once you're there, go to the Advanced tab, look under Performance, and hit Settings> then jump back over to the Advanced tab again. Under Virtual memory, click Change> and from there, you can switch over to custom and manually type in the size for your paging file. I'd suggest setting it to at least 2 GB.
