Stupid question about a possible hairline fracture
So, maybe two or three days ago I forgot I’m not exactly a kid anymore—I tried to pull myself up on a pull-up bar using just my arms. It looks like I put all my weight right on my right forearm, and once I felt that resistance—you know, when you realize your arm just isn't going to handle that much strain—I backed off.
Now I’m kind of spiraling, wondering if I might have actually cracked a bone, because my arm felt... off after that. I guess I'm wondering if it’s even possible to have a fracture without any swelling or bruising showing up? I broke this same arm a long time ago, and back then, it was pretty obvious it was broken. This time, though, there's no discoloration—it just hurts whenever I apply pressure directly to the bone. That’s what’s bugging me. I'm not sure if it could just be a pulled muscle or something, and I honestly don't know what that feels like compared to a crack.
Also, I'm not really sure if I can just head down to an urgent care or something to get an X-ray just because I'm worried.
