NVMe SSD questions.

Hi everyone,
I have a MacBook Air with a 512GB NVMe SSD, and I'm looking to upgrade to a 1TB drive. Does any NVMe drive work, or are there specific requirements I need to meet? Right now, I'm looking at this on Amazon:

Would this be a functional and reliable replacement?

You have to check the M.2 format and length—2280, 2260, etc. Those last two digits are the length in mm.

A bigger one won't fit in a smaller slot.
The one you linked is a 2280.
