Budget PC build for the kids (around $500) :)

Hi everyone. Since you guys built me a rig two years ago that’s still running perfectly, I figured I'd come back to ask for help for a friend. The budget is around $1.25. He already has a monitor—it might be an LED TV, maybe about 27 inches, I'm not entirely sure. He doesn't need a mouse or keyboard. It’s just a basic PC for some kids, ages 8 to 10, so mostly just gaming, browsing, and watching movies. Nothing too intense. I'm looking for suggestions, preferably from stores based in the US.

I have a few ideas in mind, but it seems like every store is out of stock on what I actually need. 😬

What's mentioned above works fine, though you might want to just grab a Western Digital 1 TB drive instead—it’s probably only about $20 more.
