Forget about that kit, $300 for 1x4GB 🤦

It just doesn't make any sense to go for that.

X99... we've already covered this. DDR4 only works on X99, by the way.

It all comes down to what you prioritize in a build. That pro-grade socket is a rock-solid investment that’ll serve you for a lifetime, but let's be real—for pure gaming, it's total overkill.
Like I mentioned before, you have a massive budget here. You can grab whatever you want and still have plenty left over for other gear.
