Hi there,
Does anyone have a recommendation for a 60-count bottle of AHCC on Bay?
I’m looking for someone who has actually bought some personally and knows which brands they can truly trust.
So far, I'm looking at these options:
"BioGenuine PSK 16 1070 mg 60 Tabs"
"NOW Foods AHCC 750 mg 60"
"American BioSciences ImmPower"...

Also, are there any local pharmacies around here that carry these specific brands, besides those ImmunoM and Kinoko ones? The Kinoko 60-count is the cheapest option—likely because it has more fillers—but it also has this weird typo on it. The English label says "Hecsose" instead of "Hexose" like every other brand. It's just two letters in two places, but still.
The shop is going to call me in a few days to "investigate" why it's written that way, and then I'll decide if I should return it. Honestly, I might just keep it if enough people here can confirm the formula is legitimate and that it actually works, regardless of the spelling error.
The seller tried telling me that all AHCC formulas come from the exact same source, but something about that just doesn't sit right with me. I dug through some old forum threads where people mentioned the product, but I couldn't find much regarding how effective it actually is.

On a side note, has anyone used AHCC while undergoing chemotherapy, or perhaps without it? What kind of results did you see? Which brands and dosages worked best for you? I watched a video on AHCC (covering what it's made of, how it's produced, and general experiences)
I really need some solid information quickly, as I'm scheduled to start chemo soon, and I don't want to go into it without a reliable AHCC supplement by my side.

Can anyone here vouch for whether Kinoko actually does anything for your immune system?

You might want to dig into some studies on AHCC, perhaps by searching through PubMed http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed or looking directly at various scientific journals (which is usually what you'll find when using PubMed anyway) ...

These sources should provide some really helpful information ...

Hey, thanks for all the work on these pages 🙂
I’ve been digging through various studies and reading people's experiences online, but I’m really looking for feedback from folks right here at home. It seems everyone is ordering this Kim Kardashian stuff, which honestly feels a bit sketchy to me. Since there aren't any actual reviews, and even the seller can't confirm if it works—I'm assuming it's coming from China, then shipped through the US before hitting our shores—it feels off. Honestly, it should be the job of Customs to flag counterfeits; you’d think someone would notice a suspicious label and add a warning, but no. Man, this country... years go by and what do we actually get? We're stuck with a tax structure that basically crushes small businesses, astronomical rents, sluggish sales, and more. On top of that, getting a decent job usually requires knowing the right person; looking at the unemployment office, it feels like a 1000:1 ratio just to land one opening. And how are you supposed to gain experience when every position goes to someone with connections? Meanwhile, politicians are just lining their pockets because they have the votes, rather than actually using intelligence or competence to build something that lasts. They don't care about the average person. To them, a job is just a way to get by without any real responsibility, though I suppose it takes them $10 hours just to realize when it's time to head home... I wouldn't mind moving to Japan, getting married, and just staying there. Anyway, I drifted a bit off-topic, haha..
I'll check out those links, but I was mainly interested in hearing from local people who are actually importing this stuff. But it doesn't matter much now; I started taking it around 3 PM, so let's see how it goes. Maybe I'll stumble upon something useful on these sites. Thanks.
