Pantry moths help!

I was deep-cleaning my kitchen today and stumbled upon what looks like a pantry moth infestation—which I’m pretty sure has spread through the whole apartment by now. While digging through the trash, I found these little things... they're tiny, elongated, dark gray, and honestly feel almost like plastic. When I pressed on them, they just popped, and this yellow liquid leaked out. Has anyone else dealt with creepy little bugs like this? If you've seen anything similar, could you let me know if these are actually pantry moth larvae?

Of course we can help, though it’ll take a lot of patience and maybe a little extra cash, especially given how expensive everything is lately.

Basically, what you should do is grab an old canister, head down to the Shell station to fill it up with regular unleaded, and then lightly spray every single nook and cranny in your place. Once you're done, just make sure to leave a continuous trail behind you as you exit, then light it up, lock the door, and let it sit for about an hour. That should wipe those moths right out.

Got some pheromone traps for kitchen moths sitting in my DM if you want them.
As for your pantry situation, honestly, just get some airflow in there and keep things clean.

But hey, wait for the tech support crew on here to chime in—maybe they know an app or something for killing off those tiny pests.

Look, I honestly think we should just leave those poor larvae alone. Put them in their own little container with some wool and a variety of seeds or walnuts—give them a diverse menu so we can actually observe what they choose to eat and how they grow 🙂 That way, once they've finished the larval stage, you’ll see exactly what kind of insect, butterfly, or moth they've turned into 🥳 Who knows, maybe they aren't even moths; they could be silkworms 🤔 You could even raise them commercially and make a killing off the silk 🤷

And who's to say that yellow liquid from the larvae isn't some kind of natural antibiotic? 😲

I say you and that guy whose house is constantly being picked apart by birds should probably sit down and work out some kind of compromise. Honestly, the birds are gonna win that fight eventually. But hey, if you end up having issues with cats instead, maybe reach out to that one forum regular who deals with constant meowing—might be worth seeing if he can strike a deal too. 👍
