I honestly hate this sport—how can a team that barely existed a few years ago, and probably won't even exist once this tournament wraps up in their home country, actually manage to rank among the top four? 😲

Honestly, it feels like soccer is the only major sport left where you don't see these fake, instant national teams popping up everywhere. Sure, you have naturalized players, but those are usually guys already grinding in local leagues who have basically become part of the culture through playing there. But this whole trend of just buying a roster—like how the Qatar handball team or that Mexican water polo squad operated—is just straight-up gross, if you ask me.

According to the official stats, Alilovic 4 and Ivic 4. Omeyer put up 8 saves in just 15 minutes against the Canadians....

That is precisely my point.
He is just as much of a nuisance here as an unfairly underrated goalkeeper.

But looking at the Denmark-Spain matchup, it’s glaringly obvious how far behind we've fallen in this game compared to them.

This guy is absolutely unstoppable...

The Spaniards are playing beautifully. Every single attack seems to have a clear plan, their defense is incredibly tough, and they adapt to the flow of the game instantly. It feels like they have an answer for everything.
Denmark relies way too much on one-on-one play and the pure talent of Hansen to get by.

The Canadians managed to close the gap to -4, but then the Frenchmen immediately shut them down, pushing them back to -7🤣🤣🤣

What does it even mean when you have Omeyer standing in goal? You've got the Canadians down by five and riding a massive wave of momentum, then he pulls off two quick saves and suddenly that Frenchman is up by seven. Isn't the whole game decided right there?
