If you’re going to cheat, you do it where it’s hard to see—the stuff that requires specialized testing to uncover. Not like this. This is why Red Bull needs to insist on a full inspection of the wing mechanism to see if this happened at other tracks too. Because if they find a genuine irregularity there, Mercedes could end up facing a DQ for multiple past races due to an illegal wing.

Based on what we saw today, it's definitely the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team.

It’s actually a bit of a blessing in disguise for Lewis Hamilton that this went down in Brazil. At least now he’s got the Sprint race to try and claw back some lost ground.
Even with a five-place penalty, he’ll likely be starting somewhere around 15th tomorrow, which honestly feels better than being stuck at the very back of the grid.

We were basically expecting to hang on until lap 10, but we somehow managed to last until almost lap 60. And that’s even with all those empty SC periods.

Honestly, it's more than respectable given how things are looking today. 🍿

This sprint could be a bit more exciting than I’m hoping.
I have a feeling Mercedes will show some real strength, but Max Verstappen looks even stronger; he always seems to find an extra gear at this track.

Red Bull should definitely be closer in Abu Dhabi; there are just too many technical corners on that circuit for them to be lagging this far behind.
