So, I’m not sure if it’s been six months since the mod said, maybe they track it by the hour or whatever, but I think we're getting close. Not that it matters too much

What’s the drill once it gets here? Do the mods have to huddle up and vote? And do I need to declare what kind of user I’m gonna be—or not be?
Anyway, just check out my posts from the last six months in the other subforums. I’m solid everywhere else, except maybe here where I’m busy calling out unfairness and those stuck-up mods and admins. But that’s a whole different story, and honestly, I’m still gonna speak up because a lot of this stuff is just wrong.
I really dug into the rules this time, so I know exactly what’s allowed. I’ll be reporting sketchy behavior and certain users regularly—especially some mods who act just like I used to, only they use fancier words and get a pass from the higher-ups. But after that, I've moved on.

And when I got banned, it wasn't even clear-cut. Most of the heavy hitters over on the Movie forum were against it, so it’s high time this gets cleared up.

Hey, can some moderator hit me up? It’s been 24 hours already
Like, am I really allowed to ban people from talking about astrology in the chat thread? 🤷

I’m all for unbanning Rachel Ortiz33—I mean, let's be real, he actually contributed something meaningful to that movie. Ever since he left, the reviews have felt so one-dimensional... everything just sounds the same now. We need someone who isn't afraid to actually call out a movie when it totally sucks. 😁 .
He was gone for a long time, too. I honestly think he learned his lesson.

Come on, mods—show some mercy 🙂

Man, Kyle Vaughn8, they’re gonna think we’re just out here playing games or something. 🤣

Are we actually getting an answer before the month is out? 🤔

It’s been sixty hours already—maybe we’re looking at another sixty. 🤷

I mean, they’re probably swamped trying to stop all the trolling about those horoscope predictions in the chat.
We really need to get this movie chat back on track. There's plenty of work to do. 🙂

so what exactly did he say wrong?
his ban expired and he's asking for a statement, but ignoring him for two whole days just to play dumb—if you ask me, that's just straight-up dodging.
honestly, it feels like you guys want someone to lose their cool just so you can slap them with another violation and claim the ban isn't being lifted. yet, when it’s time to hand out a penalty, we’ve got a one-hour turnaround and two mods on the thread, including you.
what a joke. 🙄

anyway, I don't get why I'm getting flagged for every single post I make—since when is it against the rules to comment on someone's appeal? 🤷 where does that even say so? 🤷
I really don't think this kind of behavior is appropriate for you guys.

just waiting for my next strike 🤦

attitude? what attitude? and how is my take any different from Mr. Smoogjov's? if I sink down to his level—it's bad
if I stay above his level—it's also bad

just making up rules as you go along, then handing out red cards whenever I call out bad moderation or admin moves... honestly, I've got a million examples of how messy this sub is 🤷

anyway, I was just asking about the actual procedure for appealing a ban, and nobody has even answered me yet

If I were actually in charge of this subforum, I’d tell him straight up whether or not he’s getting his partial removed—but all I can say is that with an attitude like that (which clearly caused the partial in the first place), he probably won't see it happen. Honestly, I wouldn't be the one to strip it from him anyway.
Two days really isn't long enough to start a massive drama just because someone hasn't replied yet.

What kind of approach? What are you even talking about?

It’s basically just those two days where things get heated because you see the mods starting to patrol the forum more often.

Actually, I don't think so. Just because they're active doesn't mean they've actually had a chance to sit down and hash out your specific issue, or even that they've finished looking into it if they have started. At the end of the day, it's on you to ask the question and then just hang tight for an answer. If a few days go by without anyone getting back to you, you can always send a gentle nudge—maybe a private message, a quick ping, or just a polite follow-up post—but coming at them like this isn't the way to go. Just take a breather and wait for one of the admins to step in.

I wouldn't exactly call it a "constructive approach"—just aimless venting about how unfair and arrogant the mods and admins are. Basically, calling out their management just because—heaven forbid—they haven't responded in two days (even though they aren't even required to step in until the six-month mark has passed).🤷

I was speaking in general terms, not specifically about those two days. That's beside the point... I've posted threads here with plenty of solid arguments before that just got ignored. If you didn't catch them, maybe someone else did... don't act like an expert on stuff you know nothing about... I have no clue what your deal is with this thread when you clearly don't have all the facts regarding the situation.
How do you know the six months aren't up? You got a stopwatch? Tell me exactly how much time has passed, down to the minute and second.

What tension, Nico? I'm chillin'. Just waiting things out peacefully. My words always get twisted—do you think I'm typing in ALL CAPS or something? Because I'm definitely not coming at anyone sideways.

So you just showed up to drop your opinion, even though you don't have a clue what's actually going down in the movie section—or the whole mess involving that megatroll and the unfair ban?
But you feel entitled to weigh in on just one single post, deciding who's right and who's wrong, and whether or not the ban should stay.
Just great.

Honestly, I'm done. There's no point. ☕

My first question was just about what the standard procedure is for stuff like this, so THAT could've been answered quickly.
The whole debate part is different—let that drag on if it needs to.

Maybe try reading my original post from start to finish before telling me to chill. You're assuming I'm worked up based on the wrong things.

Maybe try giving the PDF rules a quick read before you jump into starting a thread:

rustydrifter10 said:• Any appeals filed using offensive or vulgar language won't be considered. Also, please remember to stay respectful when communicating, because rude or provocative complaints might be deleted, penalized, or even result in the thread being locked.

Now just hang tight until someone from the Movie crew shows up.

Honestly, just one single post—this very thread you started—is enough to see that your whole approach is off base. It’s definitely one of those things they look at when deciding whether to strip someone of their partial privileges, so consider this some friendly advice.

Btw, you were hit with that partial back at the end of September.
