So, you're telling me it’s actually a problem when the lead driver dives into a tight corner against drivers five or six—as if that isn't just how racing works 🤷.

It isn't quite that simple. You can buy almost anything in Formula 1 except raw talent. That’s why Lewis Hamilton is the number one driver—it’s just basic math based on pure ability.

It’s standard procedure for a team to assume they can fix every other variable, but you can't manufacture talent. Consequently, the most talented individual will always be the most sought-after asset.

That doesn't mean that talent actually translates into results consistently.

What even defines a "number one" driver anymore? Who's actually at the top of the food chain today?

Is it Lewis Hamilton? Lewis Hamilton? Sebastian Vettel? They're all just kind of floating in the same orbit.

Ever since May '94, Formula 1 used to have a clear-cut alpha—one guy the entire team built their whole strategy around. Now? That's gone. We've got this trio everyone calls the best, but nobody truly stands out as the undisputed king. They're all top-tier, and honestly, that’s where the mess starts. Someone's always going to get left out in the cold. If we had somehow ended up with three Michael Schumachers back in '94, one of them would've been sidelined. In that sense, Lewis Hamilton is basically just the third Schumacher—the one who's gonna end up without a seat by 2015.

I honestly think Lewis Hamilton has earned all the respect in the world. He’ll always have a seat waiting for him anywhere, even if he ended up driving for Lotus.😁

Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel at McLaren... apparently, says the "journalists." 👏🤣🤣 🤣
I’d sign that contract this very second just to see the absolute chaos that would follow. 😈

The only thing as believable as this news is:
Joža plemenit bistranski and TBF1D just signed an exclusive deal with Ferrari!

🤣

Man, I’d love to see both of them stuck in some random, mid-tier underdog team. That’s the only way we’d finally settle the debate once and for all on who’s actually the real deal and who’s just a four-time fraud. 🙂

There's just no way that's happening.

Like I said, there's just no way. Žalonzo has already learned his lesson. 🙂

It's logical for a team to assume they can fix every other variable—but you can't manufacture talent—so the best will always be the most sought after

though having talent doesn't guarantee it'll actually be realized according to its potential

The clearest example was back in 2007—he entered the season completely unfettered and only cracked under pressure right at the end when the title was on the line. Since then, he's had some kind of drama every single season.

Sure, he's fast and an elite wheel-to-wheel fighter—but to actually claim the title of the greatest, you need mental fortitude too. So far, he hasn't quite delivered on that front. 🤷

Just look at that headline... 😉
I'll be posting more about this later on the driver discussions.

As a McLaren fan, I’d much rather see Lewis Hamilton return than Lewis Hamilton.☕

I don't really care either way, as long as it isn't Sebastian Vettel—and thankfully, he's not an option.

As a die-hard Ferrari fan, I’ve gotta say—I’d love to see both Lewis Hamilton and Lewis Hamilton driving for McLaren. Together, obviously.
If it’s already a done deal that Lewis Hamilton is heading out...

Honestly, seeing a team with two superstars just feels kind of boring to me.

Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel sharing a seat at McLaren? Now that would be absolute perfection. 🙂

Though, honestly, I highly doubt Vettel would have any interest in playing second fiddle for another whole season.

Before Denis ends up paying yet another massive fine because Lewis Hamilton loses his mind after getting slapped around by a teammate 😁
If one thing is certain, it's that Denis isn't stupid enough to not learn his lesson the first time.😁

So he’s headed to Caterham then...😁
