Ted dropped this absolute gem today—totally insane, borderline impossible, but honestly kind of hilarious...

He says McLaren—basically Dennis—is looking to get back at Alonso and pay him back with interest for all that 2007 nonsense.😂
The plan? Offer him a seat so he jumps ship from Ferrari, then once everyone’s contracts are signed and the grid is full, just screw him over and sign Kevin Magnussen and Jenson Button instead. 🤣

As crazy as it sounds, if Dennis actually pulled something like that off, it would be the ultimate troll move.🙏🤣🤣🤣

It is quite interesting, isn't it? Red Bull is claiming they never even considered Lewis Hamilton, supposedly because signing him would completely clash with their whole philosophy of developing young talent from within.

NBC is reporting it too. They’re just picking up the story from Sky, obviously. If this actually holds water, I guess I'll have to start rooting for Vettel.

Then again, it was that McLaren-Honda combo that got me hooked on NASCAR in the first place.

Niki Lauda 🙏🤣
They asked him if he’d be interested in Lewis Hamilton now that he's a free agent, and Lauda didn't mince words:
NO! Why would I want him? 😕🤣🤣🤣
I've already got the best lineup, and the next best thing is anyway Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo 😁

He even went on to say that anyone could drive today's cars when they brought up that kid from Red Bull, basically claiming NASCAR is easier than F3... apparently Bernie Ecclestone needs to get his act together and let us have 1200 HP engines and massive wings 🙏😁

Then they ask Christian Horner if he was interested in Lewis Hamilton, and Horner says NO! Not for a single second...

And then they ask Lewis Hamilton, and he just says he can choose where and when he wants to go 😍

Perhaps his mind was wandering toward entirely different pursuits in life altogether. Could he be contemplating, for instance, finally stepping up to lead that cycling team of his sometime next year?

Nothing is impossible, I guess...
But Red Bull just absolutely hammered Ferrari, and honestly, they did the same to Vettel-Alonso with this move.
Now we’re looking at a situation where Alonso might have nowhere to go except Lotus or McLaren. That basically hands McLaren and Dennis a massive upper hand in negotiations... he could probably start blackmailing them at this point. 😍

So, there you have it.
It seems our guy had his privileges for picking engineers and crew stripped away—right before his own teammate—and now he’s immediately jumping ship. I guess he just wasn't ready for an equal footing within the team—you know, where he's a partner rather than a subordinate.
How lovely. And incredibly brave, too.

I reached out to @ alo_oficial about the idea of taking a sabbatical. It's certainly not off the table.

He’s claiming that McLaren—well, Dennis—is looking to get revenge on Lewis Hamilton by paying them back with interest for all that drama back in 2007.😂
The theory is they'll offer him a seat to lure him away from Ferrari, only to wait until every single contract is signed and the grid is locked in before pulling the rug out—leaving him in the lurch to sign Kevin Magnussen and Jenson Button instead. 🤣

As insane as it sounds, if Dennis actually pulled off a stunt like that, it would be the ultimate troll move. 🙏 🤣 🤣 🤣

It’s going to be hilarious next season when we see that Honda’s Japanese software is absolutely unbeatable, and Lewis Hamilton and Kevin Magnussen just tear through the field—especially that Italian spaghetti manufacturer.

Now we might end up in a situation where Alonso has nowhere else to go except Lotus or McLaren, which naturally puts McLaren and Dennis in a powerhouse position during negotiations... they could practically dictate the terms now.😍

I wouldn't be so sure about that; McLaren is still feeling the heat from Honda to land a big-name driver.

Personally, I have a hunch everything is already signed and sealed—it’s just a matter of why on earth they are dragging their feet on the official announcement.

That wouldn't even be a surprise, let alone funny...
What would actually be funny is if Ferrari builds the best engine and the best car next year, only to have Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen fighting for the title 😁
while Lewis Hamilton is on Twitter and his fans are all over the forums explaining how the Ferrari is totally dominant and McLaren is just a trash can... now THAT would be pure comedy. 🙏🤣🤣🤣

That's because all they have left is that old preliminary deal with Vettel... basically, they've got nothing unless Lewis Hamilton actually agrees to join McLaren...

Seriously, did you see Eric's face this morning? Out of everyone standing there in line, he looked the most blindsided. He was clearly sweating bullets...
Mattia Binotto looks totally fine and keeps smiling, Christian Horner seems completely unbothered, but Eric was visibly panicking and looked like he had no clue what to say...
Meanwhile, Jenson Button was just chilling, totally stress-free. 😉

True, but then you run the risk of Sebastian Vettel just ending up in a total vacuum. We’re looking at a situation where two drivers have decided to jump ship, yet their new teams are performing like they’ve been hit by a lightning bolt.

Man, I’d give anything to know what kind of games are being played behind the scenes.

Is it really such a stretch to think Lewis Hamilton might be hoping for a landing spot in Detroit?

You’re overlooking one possibility: Fred might still have an opening to keep things steady at Ferrari. Just imagine a lineup with Vettel-Alonso...😒

I’d love to get everyone's take on this interview with Lewis Hamilton.

What do you think is actually being said between the lines here?

That sounds like pure wishful thinking... though honestly, I wouldn't complain if that scenario actually played out.🎉🎉 ☕🍿

Look, anything can happen. There's even a slim chance Vettel just takes a year off.
I highly doubt it, but hey, maybe he just wants to stay home with his wife and kids...

It’s even possible things get so messy in Detroit that we end up seeing both Lewis Hamilton and Vettel land at Mercedes. 🤣
Honestly, anything is on the table...

The only thing that's a total certainty is that Vettel is leaving Red Bull.
And by the looks of it, Lewis Hamilton is leaving Ferrari too. I find it hard to believe guys like Niki Lauda, LDM, or Jean Todt would be blabbering about an exit if it wasn't happening...
I don't believe a single word coming out of Christian Horner, but believing anyone else? That's a much harder sell. 😉

The Greatest of All Time—it’s the debate that never dies, isn't it? Every time we sit down to talk about the absolute pinnacle of the NFL, the conversation inevitably circles back to that one impossible question: who actually deserves the crown? It’s never just about the stats on a page, though, is it? If it were, we could just hand out trophies based on a spreadsheet and call it a day. But greatness is more nuanced than a simple tally of wins. You have to look at the eras, the machinery, and the sheer grit required to pilot a car when the technology is working against you. Some drivers are masters of a specific machine, while others possess that rare, almost supernatural ability to drag a subpar car into the points. It’s easy to look back through the lens of history and pick a name, but trying to weigh a legend from the seventies against a modern icon is like comparing a heavyweight boxer to a middleweight technician—they're playing entirely different games. It really comes down to what you value: raw, unadulterated speed, or that calculated, surgical precision that wins championships. kaže:
This isn't some grand revelation—nor is it even remotely funny...
It would be almost comedic if Ferrari managed to engineer the perfect package next season—top-tier engine, flawless chassis—only to find themselves locked in a championship fight between Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen. 😁
Watching Fernando Alonso sit there on his high horse while his fans flood the forums claiming Ferrari is absolutely dominant and McLaren is just a total joke—man, that wouldn’t even be funny. It would be pure comedy gold. 🙏🤣🤣🤣

If Kimi ends up paired with Sebastian Vettel, does that automatically mean Fernando Alonso is the superior driver?

🙂

Eddie Jordan told The New York Post, "I have it on good authority that Fernando Alonso already inked his deal with McLaren last week."
