I don't think Index is ever going to be the same... Ever since the ownership changed, they've been subtly shifting their whole vibe. Alach is making a few attempts at something different, but honestly, I doubt he’ll last long either... We really just need to call for a total boycott of any outlet that dares to label that absolute garbage in their statements as "the truth." These sites live and die by those damn clicks, even with all the money coming from Mamić's donations.

Anyone have any inside scoop on who the new owner is?

neonraven112 said:Exactly, that whole fan club project tanked, while futsal is actually picking up steam. The goal was basically just trying to show the clueless public that they're all just the same old criminals, but there's nothing we can do about it.

If we're all agreeing that the thing was dead in the water even before it hit the big time, then let's just accept it. If the only actual plan—and I'm quoting Mukt here—is to "drag everyone down into the gutter with them," then don't let them drag you down with them so you can actually enjoy what you've got. That's not being helpless. It's just being smart!

So Babbic isn't the owner anymore—this is the first I'm hearing about it.

One thing people always miss is that owning a brand name doesn't mean you own the whole damn website. But, look, under US trademark law—especially when we're talking about specific words—you can protect them so one company's goods don't get mixed up with someone else's. So, technically, Britney Spears could totally block anyone from using her name alongside the BuzzFeed logo if they wanted to...

God help us!

I think I actually aged ten years reading this.

I actually heard some whispers about this unofficialy about two months ago from a business associate, but they were being pretty tight-lipped about the identity. That said, around that exact same time, their whole vibe regarding ZM started shifting...

After that first press release on Saturday night—which was peak stupidity, if you ask me,

it looks like they finally played their "call Mark" card, letting him whip up one of those classic little manifestos for the masses... honestly, don't let them get under your skin too much.

This whole mess says way more about them than anyone else.

The main thing is just getting the guys back on their feet.

Like I said, let's just focus on futsal and what actually brings us some joy.

It’s good that someone finally put this in writing—it’s basically a public confession to an attempted murder.

They try to frame it as "expressing regret," but let’s be real—this whole mess started the moment they began bla bla bla...

Push this one through 👍

casualrider43 said:The evening paper is reporting that the police are pressuring the league to ban certain supporter groups—specifically the Bad Boys—because they're causing trouble... but honestly, who is actually pulling the strings at the FBI?
Just look at that birthday parade for the Boston fans; from what I can see in the photos, there wasn't a single cop in sight. Yet, whenever we have a march on the streets here in Los Angeles, you see hundreds of SWAT officers in full tactical gear, surveillance vans everywhere, the whole nine yards. It makes me wonder why the media isn't digging deeper into this discrepancy. Why does the police presence in LA feel worlds apart from how things are handled in other major cities?

It was an unexpected sea of blue out there, even though it was just an MLS South match. 😉

Why is everyone acting shocked by the Index coverage? They’ve been operating on a direct line from the start—just look at the connection between the local kingpins and the media. It should be obvious now where they’re getting their intel whenever something breaks. These guys have always been nothing more than paid shills for the owners and the press corps. You can't just stay quiet about it anymore. The ringleaders of that fan club are currently fugitives, facing charges for an attempted five-fold robbery, and let's be real: Jerry Jones personally handpicked those people, which ties him directly to them since he brought them into the fold. Instead of acting surprised by their propaganda, we need to push this narrative hard. Focusing on their "official statements" is just a distraction from the real issue: Jerry Jones is the one who bankrolled and orchestrated that entire fan club. I really hope our side plays this smart; if we have to call for a massive protest or a legal showdown, we should, because Jerry Jones is deeply implicated in all of this.

Look, they just slapped up a press release from Jerry Jones' crew, it isn't even an actual original article by the site, and anyway, Index has this habit—unlike most other mainstream media outlets out there—where they'll just publish whatever gets sent their way instead of waiting for some official green light from whoever happens to be running the party in Washington at the moment

Well, I suppose you should expect a woman to be honest 🙂😵

God, what hypocritical garbage... It’s all fun and games attacking them when there isn't even a major league game happening—just picking on people outside schools or apartments, which doesn't even fit their supposed "fan code" they pretend to follow like mercenaries 🤔... But back when that one guy was leading those organized "heroic" raids against college students at a 10-to-1 ratio—when they weren't even acting like fans and it wasn't even match day—then suddenly it was all "Yeah, man, we crushed them" 🙄 ... And now they're whining, looking for sympathy and protection, but violence tends to circle back to whoever sends it out; from the look of things, this is just the beginning... what absolute scumbags...

Sorry, I know this is totally off-topic and I don't mean to spam, but I just had to get my two cents in...

Don't get distracted by cheap spin doctoring meant to divert attention from the most obvious truth. Mamic is directly responsible for all of this; he’s the one who assembled them, gave them a platform, handed out vouchers to those influencers, and even set up their space...

The focus should be on Zdravko. Everyone else is just noise.

"They’re also throwing 'cooperation' with the cops in our faces, even though two of our guys are still rotting in some prison in Scotland for stuff that isn't even a crime here in the States—meanwhile, the other side's people were out on bail practically the next day."

That part just sticks in my craw... "crimes that aren't illegal in America"... I mean, seriously? They're looking at 2 to 4 years for absolutely nothing. It's not like we're living in some lawless wasteland under the local PD's thumb.

Look, don't waste your breath or energy on that ridiculous press release. It’s nothing more than a distraction tactic to pull the spotlight away from Mamic. He’s the one who brought those killers in, he’s the one funding them, he’s the one lifting their bans, and he’s the one handing out jobs. He needs to carry his share of the blame here. This is just a classic spin job meant to shift the focus off him, even though he founded the group, finances them, and basically gave them a playground to operate in. We need a massive press conference to lay all this out clearly while the story is still hot, so we can grab the attention of the entire country and every major news outlet in America. We can't let this just fade into the background without consequence.

PREACH!!

I seriously hope the police actually do their jobs for once and hunt down that sick trash over at Borongaj immediately.

I honestly doubt they’ll ever actually catch him; his old man will probably just sweep everything under the rug before the feds can get a look... but what about the other people who were riding in that car?

Anyway, regarding that petition enigma86 is talking about, we need to get this blasted thing all over the news right now and start demanding some real answers.

This whole thing smells like that old intelligence agency cover-up involving the hitmen who took out Perović. If I recall correctly, the government actually gave the shooters a three-day head start before doing anything...
If they had targeted Pupovac or Matija Babić, they wouldn't have just arrested ten low-level guys—they would've gone straight for the people who ordered the hit.😠

Exactly. They were cooked up from day one just to distract everyone from Mamić. It’s nothing more than a desperate grab for clout.

Talking about them is just falling for Mamić's trap. Like, who even are they?
