I'll just drop this here—honestly, I don't even think I need to explain why it matters.

The gist of it:
Riots broke out after a big matchup in Seattle, police used tear gas, and then they actually held fans down on the ground? Yeah. Turns out a court just awarded $1333 per person to 365 fans because of human rights violations and—get this—"degrading treatment by authorities toward citizens."

I’ll drop the link right here, though honestly, I feel like any explanation of why this matters is probably redundant at this point.

To give you the gist of the article:
Following a matchup between two major soccer clubs, things turned chaotic post-game, leading the police to deploy tear gas and subsequently force fans to lie face down on the ground with their hands bound. As a result, the courts have awarded damages of $1333 per person for 365 fans due to human rights violations—and get this: specifically citing the "degrading treatment of citizens by authorities."

Thank God, finally. This is exactly what I’ve been preaching on this forum for years... from the chaos back in 2010 all the way up to today.
For years now, the police have treated fans like nothing more than disposable slaves, trampling over fundamental human rights in the process.
The only way to actually hold this gang accountable is through the court system!

The gist of the article:
During some chaos after a soccer match between local rivals, police used tear gas and then pinned fans to the ground. Now, courts have ordered them to pay $1333 per person for 365 fans because they violated human rights and—get this—engaged in "

degrading treatment of citizens.td>

Man, they were never that kind of broken system where people are treated like property just to protect the interests of some state bureaucrats.

Except for when we were playing hardball recently. It was just like those other big "democracies"—you know, places like the UK, Austria, Luxembourg, or the Netherlands—where they folded under pressure from some cheap politicians because criminals, killers, and terrorists need to be harassed and thrown in jail...
it's funny, though. Only the guys over in Lithuania and Ukraine actually told those damn cops to back off and let our guys play the games.☕

analogheron19 said:It reminds me of that game we played recently. It felt like we were watching the same pattern play out with other major Western democracies—places like the UK, Austria, or the Netherlands—where the leadership essentially folded. They started letting those low-life criminals, killers, and terrorists run wild just to avoid the hassle of actually doing their jobs. Instead of stepping up to arrest them or deal with the fallout, they basically gave them a free pass.
It’s an interesting observation, really. It seems like the only ones who actually stepped up to push back against those heavy-handed cops and let our people through to the games were the politicians from Lithuania and Ukraine.☕

People seem to operate under this naive assumption that the system actually works and that you can rely on your colleagues to have your back, but anyone paying attention knows that’s just not the case. It’s pretty clear that the bureaucrats are more interested in protecting their own little circle of paid hacks than doing anything useful. Meanwhile, they’re more than happy to screw over the rest of us whenever it suits them.

Even those losers know it. I guess he wouldn't be staying this quiet after Bloomberg's arrest if he wasn't sure... he’d probably be holding a press conference to show support by now. Seems like they're prepping for a total victory. 👍

I have some suspicion, though I suppose one can hope 😁

It’s funny, the only ones who didn't cave to the cops were the parties from Lithuania and Ukraine; they actually let us into the games.☕

We should start writing to them too—to the countries we travel to. We need to send letters detailing exactly what's happening here, how this whole place has turned into a criminal wasteland. Send them to the major news outlets, embassies, a few ministers, even the club. They won't take our side through official channels, but we can get the word out. The media will definitely pick up on it, and honestly, the only thing these people care about is their reputation being trashed overseas.

The gist of the article:
During an LA Galaxy vs LAFC match, riots broke out post-game, leading police to deploy tear gas. Afterward, they held fans pinned to the ground. As a result, a court awarded damages of $1333 per person for 365 fans due to human rights violations and—get this—"degrading treatment by authorities toward citizens."

Everyone remembers those riots during the derby a year ago. Given the landscape here in America, it’s hardly surprising that we see situations where fans face consequences without anyone being held accountable—let alone receiving actual compensation for injuries sustained.

How did the Ultra end up with those charges regarding the riots in Columbus?

I don’t even know what to say... I’m trying to rally the troops for tomorrow, but it’s just not happening.
We had six people show up at Central Park, two at the Suburban neighborhood, seven in Sacramento, and two down by the small town riverbank... and in Indianapolis, we only had two. So, looking at the numbers for tomorrow: it’s just me and my buddy. Here’s my take on why:
- some people just can't be bothered to trek all the way to Brooklyn
- others won't go anywhere near Yankee Stadium

I'm talking about guys who used to be regulars back before everything went to hell, some of them even traveling for away games. Honestly, it feels like a mix of fear, pure resignation, and just being completely fed up with the whole scene.🤔

We had 6 people at the Salad spot, then 2 at Potter 2, 7 over at Sisco 7, 2 at Petrinja 2, and just as many at Indianapolis... and tomorrow? It's just me and my buddy showing up. My takeaway from all this:
- some people just can't be bothered to drive out to Beverly Hills
- others won't even go near Central Park

I'm talking about guys who used to show up every single week before everything went to hell, even traveling for away games... Honestly, it feels like a mix of fear, pure resignation, and just being totally fed up.🤔

It's the same story on my end. It's like some people have just lost their spark! Maybe tomorrow is just a tough one for some folks, especially with the whole Sisvet thing happening Saturday, so they've got stuff to do. Not everyone gets off work at 4 PM to make it by 5, but hey, it is what it is. See you there!

Honestly, you guys would find an excuse for every single day of the year if you tried. Now it’s some holiday, last Friday was a total mess, Beverly Hills is too far away, blah blah blah. People just won't step up; they don't want to be part of this, they're terrified of actually showing some teeth, or they're just plain disgusted by the whole thing. There are only so many of us, given the current situation, and we're surprisingly numerous—way more than we were just a few years ago—so quit whining like a bunch of cowards 24/7. Show up and fight when it actually matters. ALL FOR ONE!!!

Look, people didn't even show up to give 100% support to our veterans, so why on earth would they show up for us tomorrow in the West? That's just the state of things in this country.

If I can make the trip down there—and mind you, I don't even live in Chicago or hold a membership with BBB—then I really don't see why people who actually live in Chicago and are part of the 🙄
shouldn't be able to show up.

The defenders can barely scrape together a handful of people, yet you guys act like we've got 135,000 ready to go. 😵

It doesn't even matter. If there are 100 people standing there pointing a finger at the guilty party, that’s plenty. We can't just let them sweep what happened last Friday under the rug. Even with just 100 people, you get enough media coverage because this isn't some minor accident—two people were gunned down. That's the point we need to keep hammering home.

If we have to, we'll be out there every single Friday until they unmask whoever is pulling the strings behind those shooters.

Exactly... spot on... bravo. 👍It’s the same old routine... I’ll probably drain about half a liter in the morning over by the intersection of Broadway and 5th... attend some veteran's funeral... then catch the train... if I make it, I'll crawl my way over to 66th Street first, then cut under the expressway, then back to 66th again... if I actually make it home, fine... if not, well... they'll know when they see me... 😁

If we just stick to the plan, we’ll pull something off... I really believe that. Because right now, there's this massive weight on all of us who aren't from Chicago, since it's pretty obvious the locals—the ones who actually *should* be stepping up—don't give a damn about this. Our role within the core group (the Chicago crowd) has become absolutely huge... maybe even bigger than it's ever been before.
Back when I was headed to Indianapolis, I actually swiped a few bucks $33 from an old newspaper just to make sure I had enough for a ticket back home. And this Friday, I'm going to give it everything I've got to find some $33 so I can head up north... borrow a little from a buddy, grab a drink at a pub, then hit up a BBQ... I mean, it's not like it's my first time doing this. This is a massive battle we have to win. STAY STRONG, NO SURRENDER!!

Everyone needs to head West this Friday!!! Seriously, what are they waiting for with arresting that little trigger-happy kid???? I can't believe he's been hiding out for a whole week already...
