Well, it’s his own fault for failing to deliver, especially since everyone keeps proving how much they underestimate Zalons... The truth is, he just showed us exactly how mediocre he really is. Vettel was usually quicker in S1 and S3, but he’d drop about 1 to 1.5 seconds, sometimes even 2, during S2. 😕
It was pretty much like that the whole race. Clearly, there was a massive mess with the setup, which isn't exactly shocking since he barely drove in practice...

All in all, things went fine. Honestly, I didn't expect him to crack the top 5...

This is hands down the biggest officiating disaster the FIA has ever pulled. 🙄
I’m generally against penalizing drivers for stuff like this, but if they’re handing out 10-second stop-and-go penalties and 10-place grid drops this season, then Ricco deserves it. That wheel didn't even fly off the car, and he wasn't even out of the pits yet. Total overkill.
So, a five-second penalty just for putting the mechanics at risk during the start? Seriously? 🤦
Ferrari definitely deserves some kind of draconian penalty after that race. 😳
