What can I upload to my Google Drive?

So, I’ve got an account over at https://drive.google.com/ and they just bumped up my storage space.
I was wondering—can I upload this old movie I have sitting around and just shoot my sister a link? She’s living over in Germany, so she could just download it from there.
Basically, I'm asking if that's actually allowed under the rules.

Is there like some kind of site out there where I don't need to sign up for an account or anything? I just want to send an old movie over to a buddy without some moderator breathing down my neck and checking everything I upload first.

I’ve been using FedEx for my needs, and honestly, I haven't had a single issue so far. Everything has gone smoothly.
