Best teen movies?

The title pretty much speaks for itself. What is your absolute favorite teen movie? Feel free to list a bunch of them—I want to know which ones actually left an impression on you, so give me a little breakdown of why they’re worth watching. You can even drop a rating for any films you've seen.

American Pie (the first three, obviously) and American Reunion, The Girl Next Door, Easy A, Revolt in Youth, License to Drive, Superbad, 21 Jump Street, Road Trip, 18 Again, The Kings of Summer, Sex Drive, Project X, Submarine, The Cruel School, Napoleon Dynamite, Meet Monica Velour, Donnie Darko, Fired Up!, Cruel Intentions, Charlie Bartlett, Dazed and Confused, Get Me, Detroit Rock City, Disturbia, Role Models, Chronicle.

Underappreciated but actually decent teen flicks: The Art of Getting By, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Teen Wolf, Can't Hardly Wait, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, The Stoned Age, Private Resort, Accepted, Drillbit Taylor, Van Wilder, Just Friends.

I guess that's basically it—there are more out there, I know, but these are just the ones stuck in my head right now. 🙂

edit: The Spectacular Now is also a pretty cool flick

The last one I checked out was Drive. It’s nothing groundbreaking, just something to pass the time.
