Middle-earth movies (The Hobbit and LOTR)

👋
Does anyone happen to know where I can track down the extended version of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy? Preferably with the English subtitles or dub

My absolute favorite has to be Return of the King, mostly because that ending just completely wrecked me. I was a total mess. 🙂 😁
The rest of them are pretty solid too, though I can't really say the same for The Hobbit films. Honestly? Such a letdown. 🕺

It might just be down to the algorithm...

So, some people say... well, who knows... some folks claim that if you get the Blu-ray in the extended cut, there just isn't an American subtitle option available... but wait, wait, wait! Others are saying you could just record the Blu-ray onto a hard drive
and then just overlay American subtitles, which probably already exist somewhere out there... I mean, it shouldn't be that hard to make them based on the English ones, right?

There’s just nothing in the algorithm... and honestly, Dennis Rivera77, that stuff is way too complicated for me, I haven't got a clue how I'd even tackle that😵thanks anyway

For me, the theatrical cut of LOTR: The Fellowship is the best version. The fight scenes in the extended edition just don't feel as convincing.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers👍
