Hey, so I'm running a Corsair case here. It's all thin aluminum with tons of ventilation holes, which basically means I can hear everything—especially my fans and those hard drives. Is there some kind of special soundproofing material I could just slap on the inside panels or around the fan mounts to dampen the noise a bit? Where would I even find stuff like that?

I already dialed the fan speeds down as low as they'll go, and the drives are mounted on rubber grommets, so it’s mostly just the motor hum I'm dealing with, not vibration.

Thanks

If looks aren't everything, then you might as well just use egg cartons.

Of course looks matter, why wouldn't they?

I know about those studio cables, but they’re freaking massive—like 1.5 inches thick. There's no way I'm squeezing those into any of those compact, small-form-factor cases out there. I was thinking if there was something similar but just a bit slimmer, specifically designed for this kind of setup.🤷

I know exactly what you’re hunting for, and I think I've finally tracked it down for you:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CA-169-OP Now, just a heads-up—this kit was originally designed for the NZXT H5, but honestly, it should work perfectly fine for your build too—especially since you’ve already gone through the trouble of cutting out various sizes of foam yourself...

I won't get bogged down in the price or all those other details; I'll leave it to you to decide if the math actually makes sense for your budget...
