You’re just talking nonsense because you aren't actually processing what's being said:
- Windows 8 is fundamentally a great OS,
- But Windows 8 comes bundled with stuff that makes life miserable for users, and that’s what gets under my skin,
- It's built for brand-new gear,
- It’s totally uncool that Microsoft can just kill off Legacy support on a whim. They didn't buy my hardware, so they shouldn't be forcing me to upgrade everything just to keep up with their schedule,
- Legacy isn't just some setting in the BIOS/UEFI. It covers all hardware and software, including peripherals, and that's where Windows 8 really struggles,
- Microsoft's value doesn't mean anything to me unless I own stock, which I don't, so I'm not impressed. Sure, Google is one of the most valuable companies out there, but I don't agree with how they handle privacy either. Generally speaking, Microsoft earned its status through some pretty shady tactics—like using monopolies fueled by political favors right here in the States.
Just look at how they shoved their proprietary format into industry standards even when it didn't meet basic requirements. It failed the first time, but after a little "lobbying," they got it pushed through. And we all know money had nothing to do with it...
