Hello,
For about two weeks now, I've been dealing with some skin irritation spanning from my upper back—just below the shoulder blade—all the way down to my abdomen and groin area. It feels like a constant burning sensation whenever I touch it, almost as if I’ve had a severe sunburn or a sudden blast of hot air.
Visually, there isn't any change at all; the skin looks completely normal, yet the stinging discomfort persists.

Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms, or does anyone have any advice?
Thanks,😕

Based on those symptoms you're describing, you might be looking at shingles. If you start seeing any redness or blisters popping up in that area, you need to get to a doctor immediately to get on some proper medication before it gets worse.

I doubt it. Shingles usually follows a single nerve path, which doesn't really match what's being described here... It seems more likely that the skin is just irritated from clothing, bedding, or maybe something else in the bed while sleeping.

It could be anything, really. You should probably just see a dermatologist to be safe.

The article also mentions it can show up as a symptom of anxiety.

Thanks for the replies.

I went ahead and had comprehensive blood and urine tests done, and everything came back perfectly clear.
However, the discomfort hasn't improved at all.

Hi there,
It’s still happening, though I have a feeling it's tapering off slightly.

What kind of tests have you actually gone through, and how long has this been dragging on? Honestly, if I were in your shoes, I’d be pushing my doctor for a referral to a specialist right now. I'm not even sure which department handles this specific mess, but any decent GP should know exactly where to send you to get real answers.

Man, I’m feeling that same damn stinging sensation on my leg too, right in one specific spot, even though there isn't anything visible on my skin at all...
