Same here. Honestly, along with The Conjuring, this is the one I've got my highest hopes for. We'll see how it plays out, I guess. 😁

Watched it last night. Pretty mediocre movie, honestly.

I was kind of expecting more, you know? People were out there hyping it up as the most innovative horror flick in a decade, but at the end of the day, it’s just another home invasion story with some little twist thrown in there. It actually reminded me a bit of no One Lives, mostly because of those traps and that whole creepy stalking vibe where you're just waiting for something to happen. If you've seen it, you'll get what I mean. It was just... okay, I guess. Just average.

Just another solid horror gem from the 2010s. It's a slasher that actually makes sense from start to finish—super consistent vibes all around. The story is well-conceived and the execution is spot on; I really loved how the hunter becomes the hunted, which was such a smooth and unexpected twist.
The characters are interesting and the acting is totally satisfying, especially the lead actress who absolutely crushed it and carried her character through the whole thing. There’s even a little bit of humor sprinkled in, and I found myself chuckling a few times, but it’s handled so perfectly that it doesn't ruin the balance or turn a pure horror flick into some cheesy horror-comedy.

The soundtrack is killer, too, from the song choice at the beginning that keeps popping up in that house to everything else later on. The music fits every single scene perfectly. And man, the camerawork is great—those angles during specific scenes, like when the "rabbit" first enters the house or that part where the cat gets swung, really nail the tension and make the danger feel so real. Generally, the cinematography is strong, but it really shines during those heavy moments.
The kills are executed well, you know? And the ending is just awesome, especially that final scene.

At its core, this slasher isn't breaking any new ground, but having a good, above-average movie like this is still worth it, and it's definitely one I'd rewatch in a few years.

I agree it has some similarities, but they're pretty mild. Honestly, I thought that movie was weaker than this one.

A seriously solid horror flick—it actually pulls a curveball on you halfway through the second act. 👍 As for the score? Absolutely killer. 🙏

How is this considered a good movie? A collection of mindless characters (masked ones included) and a single woman who, due to some childhood trauma involving her father, effortlessly dispatches every one of them 😁
It was a hollow experience watching such stupidity... particularly when she charges from the middle of the house straight toward the killers while the parents just cheer her on. Yeah, go ahead. Just brilliant.

A complete waste of time that insults the viewer's intelligence—honestly? It’s predictable from start to finish, featuring some truly subpar acting throughout... anyone who actually considers themselves a horror fan should probably just label this as pure trash.
