Hello,
For some time now, occasionally I have been running into synchronization issues between my Gmail account and Microsoft Office 2013.
Everything functions perfectly at first, but then after a day or two, emails simply stop arriving. Even when I manually trigger a send/receive command, nothing happens.
The messages only begin to flow again once I exit the program—essentially closing Microsoft Office 2013 and restarting it.
The most frustrating part is the uncertainty; since the issue is so sporadic, I can't tell if the connection is broken or if there is just a backlog of unread messages waiting for me.
It is much like a faulty engine: it runs smoothly for several days, and then suddenly stalls without warning.
Does anyone have any insight into what might be causing this?
