Harrison Ford, born July 13, 1942, in Chicago, is a legendary American actor and producer.

He reached world fame playing the iconic Indiana Jones in those adventures, and of course, stepping into the boots of Han Solo in George Lucas's Star Wars franchise.
Born in Chicago, his family roots trace back to an Irish father and a mother of Russian-Jewish descent. Once he finished school, he decided to go all in on an acting career...

Personal Life

Harrison has two sons from his first marriage to Mary Marquardt, and another two sons with his second wife, Melissa Mathison.
Ford eventually started a relationship with actress Calista Flockhart after they met at the Golden Globe awards back in 2002, and they are the parents of her adopted son, Liam. Ford popped the question to Flockhart on Valentine's Day in 2009. They tied the knot on June 15, 2010, out in New Mexico while Ford was filming Cowboys & Aliens...


If you ask me, he's a fantastic actor and has such a deep catalog of high-quality films...
I personally think Extraordinary Measures is one of Harrison's best movies...

What would you say are his best films, and what kind of actor do you think he really is?

In my book, Innocent 1990 is his absolute peak—though The Mosquito Coast 1986 is a close second.
His turns as Deckard and Kimble? Total icons.
As far as his recent stuff goes, K-19 2002 was probably the last one I actually enjoyed.

I’ve always been a fan of his thrillers and crime flicks—especially those ones from the 90s. They just hit different.

Look, I mean, sure, he’s basically played Han Solo and Indiana Jones, and honestly? That’s about it. But even if those are his big heavy hitters, man, he has accomplished so much more than just those two roles. If you ask me, I think he's an absolutely fantastic actor... just top-tier stuff...

Besides Blade Runner, obviously, Witness and The Fugitive are definitely among my all-time favorites from this legend. What can you even say about the man and his leading lady? He’s such a classic, especially since he once mentioned his absolute favorite comfort foods are deep-dish pizza, cheeseburgers, and BBQ ribs. And can you believe he’s a huge fan of Elvis Presley and the Grateful Dead? It's just so him—a guy who joked that he'd never regret missing out on an episode of The Graduate.
Way to go, Harrison Ford. You're a legend!

I’m with you—he’s a solid actor. Honestly, Hollywood Homicide is an absolute gem, even if it flopped at the box office and critics trashed it left and right 🤷 personally, I think it’s pretty damn cool.

Saw him pop up in two different movie trailers yesterday, one for Paranoia and another for Ender's Game.
Man, he’s aged, honestly... just turned into a total money grabber at this point. 🤷

Look, the guy’s sitting on seven different bank accounts—I mean, come on. Of course he's getting older... it’s only natural that he wants to go out there and grab whatever life is still willing to throw his way while he can... 🤷 Honestly, if they played their cards right with "42," they could easily snag an Oscar nomination... maybe even more than that...

Look, I wasn't even talking about him playing some heavy-hitter role. Like, I don't mean him headlining some gritty prestige drama or an Oscar contender.

Whatever, I don't see why he couldn't land a role in some drama. There are plenty of other retirees out there still killing it on screen.

He basically embodied two of the coolest characters ever put on screen—honestly, what else is there to say?

He’s such a solid actor, and I honestly think he could be a real role model for people regarding how he carries himself in his private life—though, wait, did he actually have an affair back in the day??

I thought he was great in that movie *Six Days Seven Nights*, where he has to deal with that spoiled tourist stuck on a deserted island with him!!!
