I had my surgery done in Miami with Dr. Lisec. To save you guys from asking a million questions, here are the main details: Before this, I wasn't really breathing well through my nose and dealt with some mild sleep apnea. On top of fixing my deviated septum, he did a full rhinoplasty—straightened the bridge, refined the tip, and since my whole nose used to tilt to one side, he basically "centered" it on my face. He mentioned that centering it was actually the toughest part to fix. Honestly, the result looks so good that most people don't even realize I had work done, which is wild to me because the change is huge. But the doctor told me upfront that his goal was to make it look incredibly natural, which apparently has been the big trend for the last 20 years.
The initial recovery took about two weeks, which is pretty much what everyone else goes through—you can find tons of videos about it on YouTube. The only weird thing was the bruising; it stuck around for way longer than expected, like 3 or 4 weeks. It was honestly embarrassing walking out of my apartment when people were giving me such strange looks. As for the swelling, that didn't fully subside for several months.
