Who exactly are they planning to shut down? You can't silence people's voices when 99% of us are fed up with this mess. They can roll out whatever regulations they want; we’ll just find a way around them. We need to move forward and start mapping out our strategy for the US once more people join the cause. If we have to split up individually across every single section of the stands and spend 90 minutes making life hell for them—not through some organized group, but spontaneously—then so be it. Let's see how they try to clear us out then.

Don't be naive and think you can take on the Sheriff by grouping up in an organized fashion. That just makes it easy for them to sweep you away. Spread out across all the sections, stir up the crowd, and let loose.

Just play it smart. We should make a mockery of all those rules. If necessary, everyone just sits exactly where their ticket says and cheers from their own spot.

The claims made by LA Galaxy regarding the east stand entrances being open until 3:45 PM were quickly refuted. One LA Galaxy fan (details known to our editors) sent us an email providing his own version of what happened..

"To whom it may concern,

I just wanted to follow up on your article regarding today's (05/03/2014) match between LA Galaxy and Slaven Belupo played at the Rose Bowl at 3:00 PM. In your report, Krešimir Antolić, the man in charge of security at the Rose Bowl Stadium, states that the stadium entrances remained open until 3:45 PM. That is simply not true. We bought our tickets properly around 2:15 PM. We passed all the entry checks. We actually tried to enter the stands at 2:45 PM.

However, at each of the five stand entrances, there were three guards from the Sokol Marić firm standing there. When we showed them our tickets, they told us they had been 'ordered to close everything off.' When we asked who gave that order, they only said it was the organizers. Every time we asked them to bring someone out to explain things to us personally, they just stayed silent. In the photo I am attaching, you can see me standing right at the entrance to the stands in front of the closed doors. Since more of us ended up stuck under the stands than those who actually made it inside, the people who did get in decided to come back out with us, mostly due to some unprecedentedly heavy-handed measures. The American police wouldn't even let us leave the stadium immediately; instead, they blocked both sides of the narrow walkway in full 'combat mode,' holding us there for 20 minutes. I guess they were probably expecting an improper reaction from us so they could crack down on more people and hand out more fines or bans from the Rose Bowl camp. I suppose I should thank God that everyone kept a cool head and left the stadium peacefully, so no incidents occurred."

LA Galaxy’s claims that the east stand entrances remained open until 3:45 PM were quickly debunked. One LA Galaxy supporter—who requested anonymity—sent us an email providing his own firsthand account of how things actually unfolded.

To whom it may concern,

I would like to follow up on your article regarding yesterday's match between LA Galaxy and Slaven Belupo, which took place at the Rose Bowl at 3:00 PM. In your piece, Krešimir Antolić, the official in charge of security at the Rose Bowl Stadium, claims that the gates remained open until 3:45 PM. That is simply not true. We purchased our tickets promptly around 2:15 PM and passed through all security checkpoints without issue. However, when we attempted to enter the stands at 2:45 PM, we were unable to get in.

No, At every single one of the five stadium entrances, there were three security guards from Sokol Marić stationed there. When we tried to present our tickets, they simply told us they had been ordered to shut down all entry points. When we asked who exactly gave the orders, they wouldn't give us a straight answer, simply claiming it was "the people in charge of organization." Every time we pressed them to bring those individuals forward to explain themselves personally, they met us with silence. In the attached photo, you can see me standing right at the stand entrance in front of the locked doors. Since more of us ended up stuck under the stands than those who actually made it inside, the fans who did get in eventually decided to walk out with us, largely due to the unprecedentedly repressive measures being used. The US police didn't even let us leave the stadium immediately; instead, they held us in a narrow passage for 20 minutes, blocking both sides as if they were in full "war footing" mode. It felt as though they were waiting for someone to snap, hoping for an improper reaction that would justify more arrests and stadium bans at the Rose Bowl. Thank God everyone kept their cool and left the stadium peacefully without any incidents.

Even when fans brave a torrential downpour and a massive storm just to make it to the game, they find the gates locked shut, being denied entry to the stands entirely. 🙏

We still have two home games left on the schedule, so it might be worth heading down to the waterfront; perhaps if we can get a crowd of more than 300 together, they won't feel the need to pressure us quite so much...

mistysurfer19 said:Everything’s just become a bit unserious lately—lots of forcing things through—so we can't really expect 200 young guys to carry the whole fight on their backs. We have to change something, I guess, otherwise this is just going to drag on for years and we'll be the ones losing out in the end. It's just a tough situation, unfortunately.

But man, what do you think about who actually carried the weight during the war back in '91? Most of them were just kids—mostly 18-year-olds, some even younger, up to maybe 25. That was the core strength of the US military back then. Don't underestimate that youth. They underestimated us in '91, too. I was 21 back then, and honestly, I went straight from the stadium and the city streets into the mud and the rocks of the front lines.
Youth can do it, sure. They always could. But if they need help from us older folks, well, of course they do. Not just moral support—like, maybe posting something here on the forum—but they also need to see us older guys at the stands. Especially now, when things are hardest. There are no excuses—medical appointments, work, rain, whatever. You just need to show up at the damn stadium so our kids can see they've got us older guys standing right behind them. I know they won't act all soft just because they see us, but I also know how much it boosts their morale to see us sitting there in the stands next to them...
I remember being that age myself—I’d never bow down to anyone, either—but if the older city tough guys had been there with us in the stands and then out in the action, I would've been ready to die for the cause.
Look, let's not get too philosophical. We showed up for a few games, and now, with just a few left, it's dropping off again. Let's not reach a point where people prefer meeting up at a local bar over actually showing up to the game.
There are no excuses. You go to the stadium first, and then you can complain here on the forum about the causes and
the consequences.

Look, let's stop the philosophy. We showed up and rallied for a few games, and now, with just a few matches left, we're slipping again. Let's not get to a point where people feel more inclined to gather at the local pub than they do at the game.

If you really want my opinion (not that anyone asked), tomorrow should be ninety minutes of non-stop screaming "USSF corrupt losers" alongside the Bad Boys (assuming they don't care more about their precious ☕)... just like back in the day on Dec 1st when me and the supporters were actually on the same side 😍

That is if we even get in the damn stadium ☕

Whatever. No one actually cares about the league or the fans. That guy showed up to the Cup final, drank a few beers, and just sat there watching everything the league bosses did. ☕

I’m getting that same gut feeling... they’re gonna come for us eventually just because we refuse to bow down to their precious American institutions and sacred cows.

But hey, they're the ones in charge, right? :

Don't mess with these guys; they're riding a massive high right now, especially after Jack tossed them a few crumbs from the table.

Like I said, this whole thing is rigged to screw over BBB. It's basically a scare tactic to rattle us before our European matches. Everyone else is secondary to them.

The whole thing is a circus run by the Commissioner to serve his own interests.

He's finished in the sense that he’ll be forced to call for new elections, but that’s exactly why he’s ramping up the crackdowns and all that repression. It’s like a cornered rat—it bites the hardest when it's trapped.

What do you mean, "Chicago Blackhawks"? Don't be ridiculous—the Blackhawks bought everything and destroyed it all. They took over the banners, they took over the people, and they took over the stands. All that’s left is a handful of fans screaming, but if you actually look back at the history, you have to wonder how many of them are truly decent and how many are just waiting to scavenge whatever crumbs are left for themselves. His main problem is that the Los Angeles Dodgers try to push this naive narrative about honesty. But even then, it's a facade. A thief is always terrified of someone honest, just like a lazy worker is terrified of a mirror—it shows you exactly what you really are. He’s bought up everything else: San Francisco, Indianapolis, the Locomotives, even Miami FC. He bought off Red Sox Nation with results, bought the Boys Club, used cheap buses for trips to Miami, and dealt with shady legal stuff and jailbreaks. Once he’s finished screwing everyone over, there’s no remorse. Good luck to you guys; you’re going to need it.

People, let’s stop the philosophizing. We showed up for a few games, and now, in these final matches, we are falling apart again. Let's not reach a point where people prefer gathering at the local pub over actually going to the game.

Blue City, our legend, explained everything perfectly! Come on, you old geezers, everyone head to the East Coast. No excuses. If Real Madrid ever meant anything to you in your lives, it is your duty to show up on the East Coast. No excuses—it's now or never!

Back in the 30th week of the season, you guys barely showed up—maybe 400 people max for an away game—so don't act all surprised now that there's a crowd of 3,000... remember when only 200 of you rolled into Chicago three weekends ago? For some, being a Lifelong Saint is just a phase they pull out for the big derby.😉 EVERYONE TO THE EAST COAST
