The resistance is growing, and they're getting louder by the day. 😁

It’s part of the local culture here in the Cleveland region; people really value these traditions. Let them enjoy it...

10. I honestly feel bad for the guy because after the game he ended up getting his head cracked by a cop when he stormed out of that cafe we were talking about earlier and yelled something at us like "Bravo for the Chatbot" (?) or whatever it was...

Actually, he didn't get his head cracked nearly as hard as everyone thinks, from what I could see anyway; he just swung the door open, shouted "Bravo for the Chatbot," and before you knew it, the cop slammed the door shut on him—or maybe he locked it, I don't know, it’s hard to tell since we only passed that cafe again on our way back to Mayfair, based on my own observation. 🙂

I gotta disagree on the whole "tradition" thing. I've been coming to games in Cleveland for a long time now, and honestly? It feels like it's all turned into some cheap carnival act lately.

The whole setup reminds me of Dodger Stadium—all those loud announcements, fireworks, and fairground vibes, but the crowd itself doesn't actually bring much noise...

No offense intended... 😉

I don't know about that... Maybe the opening of a mosque was what really got you guys excited. 🤷

Honestly, those comments people were making while passing by the mosque were something else... stuff we'd never be allowed to get away with in NYC.🤣

Jesse Campbell said:I really can't bring myself to call this "tradition"—and I've been coming to games in Cleveland for quite some time now. It’s obvious to me that all of this has become a bit too flashy and tacky.

It reminds me of Dodger Stadium—all those announcements over the PA, the fireworks, the carnival atmosphere, and a crowd that just isn't loud enough...

No offense intended... 😉

Look, I get it—that whole spectacle annoys me too. This way the club tries to pull in the masses; even if someone tells you straight up that "this is just how we do things here," I still prefer that classic Cleveland urban style.

The car advertisements, the fireworks, the bells, the orchestras—it's all just noise. And honestly? Seeing certain local choirs start performing specifically for the club... it's just cheap. But aside from the fact that our crowd wasn't loud enough tonight—which is strictly a matter for the ultras and this forum—everything else that irritates me is a personal grievance. I can't even begin to list it all... 🤷

Jeremy Torres17 said:Look, that whole crowd-pleasing circus the club puts on gets under my skin too. Even if you tell me it's just "tradition" here in the States, I'm more about that Cleveland urban style.

The car parades, the fireworks, the bells, the brass bands—it's all garbage. And those choirs starting to play for the club? Screw them and their little schemes. Aside from the fact that our atmosphere was total trash tonight—which is the only thing for the ultras and this forum to debate—everything else that bugs me is personal. I'm not gonna waste my breath explaining why. 🤷

I'm not saying you guys are responsible for the fireworks and the jumping around, I'm just saying it was annoying as hell and reminded me of Dodger Stadium.

Marketing is fine and all, but it doesn't have to look and sound like some backwater rural town.

Your section felt weird this time, too. It lacked that real energy... 🤷

The marketing and the crowd engagement are fine, but this shouldn't have to look and sound so... unrefined—it’s not some small-town carnival act.

Even the atmosphere in the stands felt off to me this time. That raw energy—that "force"—just wasn't there... 🤷

I agree that... sure, the marketing is all well and good—fireworks, orchestras, parades, all that stuff—but I'm personally not really a fan of that stadium vibe either. I mean, fine, play a local song here and there, but overall? It should be about that gritty, live rock energy. 🙂

As for the stands—man, it was rough. Maybe Saturday played a part, but the cheering was honestly pretty weak. The one bright spot was definitely the pyro show, though.

RIP MARKO

A quick take on yesterday's game.

1. To the Armada: what the hell were you thinking, congregating in the parking lot back on May 3rd? I don't know what was going through the minds of the security guys, because they failed to secure the route for the visiting fans heading to their section, but that was just plain stupid. Thank God common sense prevailed. It could have turned ugly fast.

2. Your cheering was kind of meh. Don't start getting defensive immediately. It wasn't a total disaster, but I found it strange that after a while, we could barely hear you at Wrigley Field.

3. For the first 15 minutes of the second half, things went absolutely INSANE on our side. I haven't felt this good in the stands for a long time. You could see it in the smiles and the sheer satisfaction of being "better than the rest." This madness lasted until the 60th minute and the Armada show. That's when the stadium erupted, we slowed down, and you guys stepped up.

4. We started putting up signs like the Italians do. Man, you wouldn't even need to buy a Sunday newspaper; you just show up to the game and read everything happening right there with us. Hahaaha, just kidding, obviously! But seriously, it was weird. We haven't written this much before. 🙂

5. I want to personally call out the announcer who announced Madonna during halftime. Half the stands started talking about it. By the time the halftime songs were ready, the hype was there, yet that jerk didn't even bring her out. Why lie to this passionate crowd!? YOU DON'T HAVE THAT RIGHT!!!

6. Does anyone else (Armada) find those trumpets, the majorettes, the fireworks... all that crap annoying? Seriously, it feels more like a small-town county fair than a professional match. I found it repulsive; it actually pissed me off. And I might understand if they blew the horns at halftime, but they’re blaring them constantly throughout the entire game!!?? :-/

7. I don't know if anyone noticed, but that absolute moron of a referee completely screwed up the minute of silence. Instead of letting it be a minute of applause, as the Armada intended, the IDIOT blew his whistle after only 10 seconds and cut short the tribute those departed deserved. YOU ANIMAL, MAY YOUR MOTHER BE CURSED!

8. As for the idiots throwing stones!? Honestly, you aren't even worth the breath. Just thank God that your stupidity didn't lead to something much worse. You got lucky it ended how it did and that you won't be carrying someone's memory on your conscience because of your own idiocy. Think about the fact that your kids will one day go to games too—full of life, energy, passion, and euphoria—which some jerk like you can strip away in a single second with a pathetic move like throwing a rock through the window of the bus they're traveling in. Even though you deserve exactly that, I sincerely hope it never happens to you, that you grow up, and that you leave this garbage in the past!

9. I don't know why, but I have a feeling the players won't be greeting us for a while! 😍

hahahaha, what a show 🤣

Like, have you actually been to a small town in rural USA? County fairs, local stalls, John Doe types, actual village life—it’s not just some tiny corner of nowhere, it exists... 😁

Mario Galić, a die-hard Real Madrid supporter who barely escaped with his life after being shot outside Yankee Stadium during the riots on May 1st, sits down in a new video. Standing at the exact spot where he was targeted three years ago, he opens up about the aftermath and what it’s really like navigating life after a tragedy that changed everything for him.

I think the context is probably best explained by the link above—just your typical American drama involving personal interests and matters of the heart. As for why he’s mentioning the Bad Boys, I couldn't say for sure. It might be because one of the members of the Vukovar Defender is a prominent supporter of the BBB, or perhaps we've just become the convenient scapegoats for everything happening in this city and across the country. Pretty soon, they won't be telling kids to watch out for the boogeyman; they'll be warning them about the terrifying "Bad Boys."

Is there seriously anyone in Mamić's inner circle who hasn't already been flagged by the authorities!? 😉
