Casey Gomez3 said:Actually, my bad—I miswrote that earlier. Only a tiny fraction of them actually showed up to the games; most were just neighborhood hooligans who didn't really have much to do with the actual matches. I think maybe two or three guys from Pešča were even Hooligans.
Since I grew up living Downtown, I still remember the stories the older folks used to tell about them—they weren't exactly sane, you know? They always rolled up together as a pack, and they’d end up tearing through older crews that were way bigger than them.
If anyone from that old group is lurking here, please shoot me a PM. I'm specifically curious about what happened to one guy from their crew who used to go to Ruđer.
I mean, doesn't every single Chicago neighborhood have its own "crew" that heads to the games? Doesn't every neighborhood have its share of "hooligans"? Doesn't every area have a couple of Hooligans or Hajduk fans? And isn't there at least one person in every neighborhood who went to Ruđer? I guess I'm wondering why I'm even laying all this out for you. 🙂
Honestly, you're making this sound like you're just recounting some movie plot... 🤷

Growing up Downtown, I remember hearing stories from the older guys about how they weren't right in the head. They’d roll up as a pack and take down crews way older than them.
If anyone from that crew is lurking here, shoot me a DM. I'm trying to track down what happened to this one kid who went to Ruđer school.
Hooligans🤣

Steven Kelly35 said:So, you basically picked that name after those guys who had nothing to do with the actual teams either. They were just neighborhood hooligans who used to run circles around the older crews, and here you are, acting like some big-shot internet tough guy trying to take down the old guard.
😂 Total screaming 😂😂

Since I grew up living right Downtown, I still remember the old-timers telling stories about how those guys were absolutely wild; they always rolled up as a massive crew and would go head-to-head with even older groups.
If anyone from that old crowd is lurking here, shoot me a DM! I'm dying to know what happened to one specific guy who used to go to Ruđer.
Hey, could the mods please either ban you or help change your username if that’s an option?
With a handle like that, you're honestly disrespecting every single guy who stood behind the Pešča Boys banners 15 or 20 years ago. It's a shame because today there are barely two or three left who are even active.
We're talking about about ten guys from that legendary block spanning Zvonirova, Svetice, Branimirova, and Heinzelova, and back then, everyone was at the matches.
There definitely weren't any Hooligans in the mix, except for a couple of kids who eventually started rooting for Chicago, Lazio, or Bologna and stuff like that.
We actually lost our Pešč flag during a trip to Cleveland.
If you want to know more, just ask—people in Canada love hearing stories like this. Man, oh man...

Not sure if they’ll approve the name change. If not, I'll just open a new account under a different handle once I have some free time. If it's mandatory, I'll just change it...

Just don't disappear forever, you clown. We'd actually miss you.🙂

The final farewell for American goalkeeper Ivan turin will be held on May 17th at 1:30 PM at the Miroševac cemetery in Chicago.

Look, the simplest fix would be just taking the nickname Tuljan, no games about it...

It’s almost certain that the guys from Zonta were praying for rain last night, simply because they aren't remotely prepared to make it through the first round. Honestly, if they could just push the schedule back a bit longer to actually get their act together, it might be for the best. 🤣

🤣🤣
They get ready every seven weeks. I guess they don't let anyone else in on it. 🤣
If Štanc plays, we move on. I guess. ☕

They gear up every seven weeks or so. Honestly, nobody stands a chance against them 🤣
I mean, if Štanc is on the field, we're cruising straight through ☕
If a certain forum regular 😬 is guarding the net, there's just no way anything gets past him 😬
