Bad Boys - Part IV

I don't really spend much time scrolling through news sites, and I certainly don't bother with the comment sections... I'll just say this: may God grant them some clarity and a little bit of common sense 🙂

Why start with the negativity right out of the gate? Even when there isn't any. Like, you actually have to hunt through comments from random nobodies and trolls on some bottom-tier news site just to find something to complain about.

Seriously though...

The stuff from HP isn't really stadium material; I just don't see the connection 🤷
Yesterday's set was at least "polished," but this feels like being stuck at some dive bar concert 🤷

To actually fix the atmosphere, they need to break up those lines. They should encourage people to get closer to the group and pack into the same section instead of standing ten feet back while security keeps them separated.

There’s a massive difference when the whole crowd is roaring versus when the noise just dies out among the guys in front of the terrace.

Sure, nobody can go full throttle for ninety minutes straight, but if they're closer to the core, it’s much easier to catch that energy than when you're isolated on your own.

And honestly, who cares if it sounds like we’re at a live concert?
If you happen to have an idea for a new song—as long as it isn't some low-quality folk stuff—feel free to reach out to the guys at the association, over on Fifth Avenue, or just catch them at a fan meetup...
Any kind of change, especially for the better, is a win... and I think this one is too.
It was actually a great bit of fun and felt like something fresh for once.

Honestly, we'll probably change our team name and the club we support before we actually manage to upgrade the songs and the melody in the stands. In our case, fighting for better chants feels like tilting at windmills. Our attendance numbers are incredible, but since the crowd is split on what to sing, the sound gets lost. It’s because the section is so flat; you can’t hear anything clearly when everyone is spread out. That’s why I suggest we all pack into the corner along the stands, from one end to the other. It’s much easier to lead a chant and the sound carries way better when people are grouped together rather than scattered in a straight line. 👍 👍 Thanks again to everyone who showed up..

In just a day and a half, they've done an incredible job. The turnout is almost triple what it was last game.
It's on all of us—and I mean every single one of us—to give it everything over the next few days. If everyone just brings at least one more person to the next match, step by step, everything will fall into place eventually.🙂

A lot of people show up to the match just for the ultras. It’s obvious everyone can't stand Los Angeles FC, but if the stands keep filling up like this, they'll be coming for the club and the group alike.
Just use your heads.

That HP track is killer. Sure, there are better ones out there, but this one sticks in your head and hits hard. Why wouldn't you play it?

And you can tell by how fast even the diehard fans started vibing to this kind of sound. Respect for that.

Honestly, let’s stop obsessing over who should stand where or how loud everyone needs to sing.... As long as people actually show up, that’s what matters most. Everything else will eventually fall into place naturally.🙂

Second—I know the lyrics well enough because I used to listen to punk while drinking beer, unlike plenty of these people who clearly didn't grasp the point for even ten minutes. By that logic, we could change everything about Bruce Springsteen next time.🙂

Third, there are tons of well-known songs that are smarter to play when more people are involved, rather than leaving gaps in the chanting.

And fourth, you were previously all for standing in front of the cathedral supporting gay rights, while on the flip side, eighty-six waitresses were visible.
So, looking at the group as a whole, I still don't see the connection.🤷

The song is difficult to sing. Even if the melody is fine, our section can't pull it off.
As for an HP version, that's different. It could be easy to carry, provided people actually learn it... though expecting that level of coordination from us is pure science fiction.

My point is simply that while we're in the East Stand, it might be more practical to set up a barrier between the yellow lines. What I pointed out were just observations, not an indictment of how the event went. 🤷

These forums are exhausting. You can't say anything without getting attacked... and then you get banned just for making a joke about the flight delays. 🤷 😍

The biggest takeaway for me is that two-legged flag situation (sorry, I forgot the technical term): we’re absolute savages... haha. This is the moment. Forget about everyone else and all the back-and-forth drama. Let's just focus on ourselves and get everyone together in San Francisco.

The song itself is actually quite difficult to belt out, and honestly, it just doesn't work for our section of the stands even if the sentiment is alright.
Then there's the version from AT&T, which is a different beast entirely because it flows much easier, provided people actually bother to learn it... though asking our crowd to memorize lyrics feels like pure science fiction at this point...

It's too complicated to perform. If we want to get it right, we should swap "get out" for "get lost"—it's way simpler to shout.🤣
Besides, it's just not classy to say "get out"🙄 🤣
