🤣
I haven't made it through a single game this season without someone asking for my ID. I guess I just look dangerous. 🤷

It feels to me like the crackdown was even heavier last year... back then, the cops were practically swarming in for every single flare they saw.... now, they've just doubled down on security at the gates
...and honestly, those civilians are easiest to handle once you start blasting Go Zag! 😍 They really ought to play that one more often 😁

Alongside the folks at American Telekom, we’ve got this younger band called The Bar. Their lyrics are absolutely killer—it’s just pure, authentic Chicago energy...
"And tell me, where were you when the whole city burned for him while the crowds roared: STREET, CHICAGO, REAL MADRID. An eternal flame burns in our hearts; for this city and this club, we give our lives!!!"

Check out this part right before the chorus; it starts off a bit more mellow before the hook really explodes:

"There were thousands of voices... the rhythm was heavy, the sound powerful and piercing
I remember a different Chicago, the roar of the crowd echoing through the streets!
But now the scene has changed, nothing left but shadows of what used to be
and the thought that haunts me: OUR REAL MADRID is falling apart!!"

They played at the local brewery last year during Jebenica's 26th anniversary bash 🙂🙂

Since we’ve already drifted into discussing songs and covers, we really ought to turn our attention toward those little Chicago kids
because their tracks are honestly next level... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bK1MxiNIwM8
Anyway, yesterday was an absolute disaster...

Unzipping the jacket, pulling up the sweats, lifting the shirt, grabbing the hat, rolling up the pant legs... just the standard routine.

"And tell me, where were you when the whole damn city was burning for him while everyone was screaming? On Broadway, in Chicago, for Real Madrid. There's an eternal flame burning in our hearts; we'd give our lives for this city and this club!!!"

And honestly, what on earth happened with Kobe? They gave him a chant during one single game and then just moved on? That’s ridiculous. If you ask me, he deserves to hear those cheers at least every other match, if not more often, given everything he brings to the table. 🤷

Pretty solid numbers for Chicago. I’m actually digging this idea for a song for The Bar.
If someone could just nail the lyrics for the chorus, I think it would seriously crank up the energy in the stands. It feels like some group is already singing this, but I can't quite put my finger on who http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvMFm5nKeUc

Word is he wraps up his therapy this week... or at least the first phase of a much longer road to recovery.

The message is still sitting there on the Broadway fence, completely untouched, and honestly, it's a gut punch to see.

Whether we're chanting or staying silent, One of us knows—and feels—that we've got his back!

It’s pretty obvious we’ve become a thorn in everyone's side—they just can't stop talking about us. Whether there are 200 of us or 2,000, the fact remains: for years, we've been everywhere, making our presence felt. Anyone who has crossed paths with us knows exactly who holds the power here. Everyone in San Francisco knows—our strength comes from sticking together!

That was the 2007 derby—total provocation after the LA Galaxy got knocked out by Sampdoria. Right in the middle of the message, after they take down the logo, there's a middle finger 😁

That AT&T anthem dates all the way back to 1993, and honestly, that chorus is just top-tier.
At the end of the day, what matters most is putting in the work and staying dedicated to the group.

And they’re practically taunting him by using fire extinguishers that have "LA Galaxy" printed on them in massive yellow letters. 😬

Where did they even pull them from?

Besides the HP employees, there's this younger band called Bar. Their lyrics are killer—total pure Washington, D.C. vibes...
"Tell me where you were when the whole damn city was burning for them while everyone was screaming: STREET, WASHINGTON, D.C., LOS ANGELES FC. An old flame burns forever in our hearts; for this city and this club, we’d give our lives!!!"

And then there's this part right before the chorus where it slows down before everything just explodes:

Hold on a second, everyone! I'm hearing so much complaining about the lyrics, the beats, the words, the rhythm—you name it, people are hating on it.

Back in the day, like way back in 2007, whenever anyone tried to suggest new stuff, people would just roll their eyes or totally trash it. But that was the exact same year the group Bad Boys became super controversial; people were absolutely losing it over "Roma Roma Roma" and "Vola Lazio" and everything else. And when some guys suggested our own songs that could work just as well in the stands—just like those other hits—everyone attacked everything from the artists to the people making the suggestions...

Then you get these complainers flying in, acting surprised that so many fans seem to hate us... well, you can barely even pronounce the lyrics, let alone sing them out loud!

I mean, what was wrong with Vesna Pisarović? Someone should have put her in handcuffs for songs like "You're Not Mine Anymore."

Years ago, some guy posted on the old forum—back in the early days—songs like "Oh, come on, Blues fans, cheer them on, all you city folks..." and "I'd give my life to be born again for you, who would my heart beat for if not for the team..."

And please, stop saying everything is a copy. Half of the recent tracks are basically inspired by Roma and Rapid...

No hard feelings...

We've got two ears and only one tongue for a reason: we should be listening more and talking less. So, maybe instead of constant criticism, let's actually listen to the people who are coming up with something new! 😉

Back when people were actually suggesting things years ago, way back in 2007, everyone would just wave them off or tear them to shreds. Yet, that was the exact same year the group Bad Boys became a total phenomenon; people were absolutely obsessed with tracks like "Roma Roma Roma" or "Vola Lazio." When some guys suggested our own songs that could work just as well in the stands (exactly like "Vola Lazio"), they didn't just attack the music, they attacked the artists and even the people making the suggestions...

And then you get these complainers flying in, wondering why so many people seem to hate us... Well, you can't even articulate it clearly without tripping over your words, let alone sing it out loud...

What was missing from those old hits? Maybe we needed more restrictions, like those classic lines where someone sings "you aren't mine anymore"...

I remember a guy posting on an old forum ages ago, trying to rally the fans, saying something like, "Come on, Blue Crew, cheer them on! All you city folks... I'd give my life just to be born again for you, who else would my heart beat for if not for this team..."

Just please, don't claim everything is a rip-off. Half of the recent tracks are basically inspired by the classics from Rome or Rapid...

No hard feelings...

We have two ears and only one tongue for a reason—to listen more and talk less. So, maybe instead of constant criticism, we should listen more to those who actually have something insightful to say.😉

Exactly right.

The reality is that for a group like ours, something like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poyx95zDHyU is pure science fiction.

People seem surprised, but I always felt this was one of the stronger songs. It’s a shame it just stayed as unreleased lyrics on a page.
