What makes you say that? πŸ€”

I just stumbled upon this thread and now I'm genuinely curious (what about πŸ™‚)... did she actually agree? 😁

I’m honestly not sure yet. I assume she’s just caught up with something else right now. 😒

Did she look like a typical forum user?

What exactly are we talking about when we say it looks like that?

She's busy typing here instead of actually getting laid...

This doesn't look particularly promising... but send over the link so we can evaluate the actual potential...πŸ˜‰

I’m ready to dive in headfirst, though I haven’t quite nailed down the logistics yet 🀣
There’s definitely some potential here. Do you think this would be a bad move if I went through with it? πŸ˜‰

I don't actually use Facebook through my email, so I just reached out to her directly. I caught a glimpse of her profile picture on there and realized immediatelyβ€”that's definitely the one.

She finally said yes! 😁 😁 But there’s one catchβ€”we have to meet up somewhere in the middle of a huge crowd 🀣
I'll let you all know how everything goes once it's over.

I basically got rejected. 😒
It’s not like I did anything wrong; she’s a great girlβ€”totally normal, beautiful, and just incredibly genuine.
She actually offered to buy me a coffee just to say thanks for all the effort I put in, but she’s still hung up on her ex and isn't looking for anything serious right now.
I really respect the honesty, though. Being the stubborn guy I am, I tried to pivot and see if there was any chance for something else down the road, but that just landed me straight in the friend zone.
And man, I really liked her. Like, a lot.

I noticed those threats from yesterday have already been scrubbed from the board.

Do you want to stay in touch? πŸ™‚
There’s no need to rush into anything right away 😁
It's just important enough that they know you're interested 😍

She knows I’m into her. It’s that classic situation where she’s just the kind of girl you can’t exactly play it cool with or pretend to be "just friends" with when there's clearly a spark. At first, she seemed pretty reserved, which honestly only made me more interested. She was actually really upfront about it, tooβ€”she told me I reminded her of an ex, which is probably why she turned away during the game.
On the other hand, it's not like I run into high-quality women every day, so it feels like a missed opportunity if I just walk away from this.

I didn't say anything wrong. She’s cute, totally normal, and just brutally honest.

I respect the honesty. I’m persistent, so I even asked if there was a chance for something else later, which just landed me straight in the friend zone.
And man, I really liked her.

Bringing up heavy stuff like relationships and exes on a first coffee date? Yeah, you were basically asking to get rejected. You have to build trust first, and since she doesn't know you, she probably suggested meeting somewhere crowded for a reason. Start with low-stakes small talk so she can actually gauge interest. Once that's established, then you make your move... 😁

I’ll be the first to admit that I tried to speed things up a little bit. When everything falls into place perfectly like a complete package deal, you just can't help yourself πŸ˜‰
. Initially, I tried to play it cool and act like I wasn't interested, but I ended up falling hard because I honestly didn't expect her to pull me in quite this much.
I'm going to give this my absolute all. When you spend your days dealing with people who are completely out of their minds, meeting someone like this makes it almost impossible not to lose your head.

She went out with youβ€”a complete strangerβ€”while she's still pining over her ex?πŸ˜•
Maybe there wasn't anything good on TV, so she just needed to kill some time.🀷

Honestly, she sounds like a total player who flirts with everyone. If it didn't work with you, maybe it's just because you didn't know how to play the game. That's the real issue here.

First off, I’d really ask you to reconsider those comments about her. Based on my own life experience, I can tell when someone is actually a good employer, and she definitely isn't one of those toxic bosses. She only decided to head out on the town because I asked her to. Does she have to be treated like an outcast just because she's still nursing a broken heart over her ex? She could have easily picked a fight or put on an act, but instead, she chose to be completely honest with me.
