Things will look up next time, hopefully👍

There's only one game on the NBA schedule today, so I guess we're all just moving over to the EuroLeague instead😁

The Raptors totally choked away a win they basically had in the bag🤷,but hey, you aren't wrong about tonight—EuroLeague it is, hopefully something actually lands for us😉

Oklahoma City Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs for Game. 2.170

This might be a bit biased, but I really think OKC pulls this one off today. Word is Manu Ginóbili is sitting out for the Spurs, which gives the edge to OKC in my book. If Durant and Westbrook play up to their potential, we shouldn't have any issues tonight...

+2.5/San Antonio - Oklahoma City 2 2,70

Total value here.
Since Manu is out, the Spurs are gonna have to step up their game big time.
If Westbrook plays some aggressive defense on Tony—and honestly, I totally think he will—I’m expecting San Antonio to really struggle and fade out during that fourth quarter.

Kawhi will probably spend the start of the game glued to Durant, which gives OKC a massive edge right out of the gate.
I'm thinking Jax might take over that matchup to take some of the pressure off the incredible Leonard, who just keeps getting better and better every single night. I'm expecting him to absolutely tear it up offensively!

It’s gonna be a nail-biter, but man, I’m really hoping OKC can pull off a late surge in the final frame to snatch this one!

Here I am again, riding with my third guest bet: Oklahoma over 99.5. I noticed the lines at some offshore books have already jumped from 201.5 up to 205.5, which definitely works in our favor here. If they managed 95 last night, I don't see why this high-octane Oklahoma squad can't easily crack triple digits. My only real worry is how Martin fits in—it’ll be tough for him to replicate those 18 points he dropped against Houston last year, especially since Harden was absolutely cooking last night and set the bar pretty high. Even though their roles aren't identical, I'm really hoping he shows up and plays his part.
Good luck.

Feels like OKC is basically a public bet at this point, so I’m just hitting the over on Westbrook tonight. Their perimeter defense is a joke against San Antonio, plus we're looking at a high-scoring game—probably around 200 total. I also don't see Durant clearing 30 with a defender like Leonard breathing down his neck, so RW should definitely cash.

Back from my day off and diving straight back into the NBA

Boston under 196.5
-Look, the home team had the second-best defense in the East last year, especially playing at the Garden where they usually hold teams to under 85. Most of these opponents they face consistently stay under that mark too (the Celtics have dipped below 90 three times in their last five games, and Milwaukee usually hovers right around 80 points🤷). I really don't think we should be looking at that first game against Miami because let's be real, those guys are on a whole different level compared to whoever they're facing today, especially at home.
OKC under 105.5
-Huge props to Martin for dropping 15 points in a massive debut, but seriously, Harden is just operating on a completely different plane than him, and time will eventually show just how much they lost when he left town. Because of that, I just don't see them consistently smashing through that 100+ mark like they did in years past, plus Portland looked like a legit squad, especially with that stellar rookie Lillard joining the mix based on how they handled the Lakers. Maybe take the +8.5 handicap on the visitors
Minnesota under 97.5
-Without their top scorer Love (averaging 26 points) and their floor general Rubio out there, I just don't see them clearing this line, especially since Sacramento showed up looking sharp and forced Chicago to work for it, allowing them 93 points
GS-Mem 2
-I'm taking the visitor here because they honestly have the more talented roster and they've absolutely dominated the last six matchups between these two. The home team is probably being pegged as the favorite because they pulled off that win in Phoenix where the defense looked decent, but the visitors have started their season with a loss 12 years in a row now. Because of that, I’m expecting a way better approach tonight and a victory—getting 2.0 odds is honestly a steal☕.

Standard bet, SS

Is Irving actually serious with this Miami/New York offer? What kind of absolute disaster is this?

It’s not just about the error, though; they actually bumped the margin up from 20.5 to 22.5.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Cleveland vs. Chicago 2
If the Bulls can lock down Irving, they should walk away with this win without much trouble. Their roster is objectively deeper, and even though they’re playing without their franchise cornerstone, Derrick Rose, they’ve become experts at navigating that exact scenario.

Golden State vs. Memphis 2
Golden State has been spiraling since that massive trade involving the Bucks last year. They’ve transitioned into a young squad that—granted—has enough spark to catch anyone off guard, but honestly, making a deep playoff run this season is going to be an uphill battle for them. Memphis, on the other hand, boasts a far superior lineup. After that loss to the Clippers, it’s high time they notched their first victory. If you look at the numbers, the stats are clearly pointing toward Memphis.

Minnesota vs. Sacramento 2
I’m putting my money on a young, talented Sacramento squad over Minnesota, who are currently struggling with the absence of two of their biggest stars. Sacramento dropped their opener against Chicago in a dead heat, but they looked solid during the preseason, so I truly believe they have the tools to pull this one off.

Rondo Over/Under 16.5 Under
Rondo started the season strong, dropping 20 points against the Heat, and lately, he’s been consistently clearing this line when facing them. However, facing the Bucks today makes me lean heavily toward the under. Last year, he stayed under this mark almost every single time, and I’m betting on history repeating itself—hoping he decides to focus on facilitating the offense rather than hunting his own shot.

Good luck.🙂

Cleveland vs. Chicago 2
If the Bulls lock down Irving, they should walk away with the win. Their roster is deeper, and even without their main guy, Rose, they know how to handle the pressure.

Golden State vs. Memphis 2
The Warriors have struggled big time since that trade with the Bucks last year. They’re a young squad that might surprise someone, but making the Playoffs this year looks like a long shot. Memphis has the better lineup, and after that loss to the Clippers, they’re due for a win. The stats back it up too.

Minnesota vs. Sacramento 2
I'm leaning toward Sacramento's young talent here. Minnesota is missing two of their biggest stars. Sacramento lost a close one to Chicago in their opener, but they looked solid in the preseason, so they've got what it takes.

Rondo Over 16.5 Under
Rondo started the season strong with 20 against the Heat, and he usually clears this line when playing them, but facing the Bucks today makes me want to take the under. He was consistently under this number last year, so I'm hoping he focuses more on playmaking than scoring tonight.

Good luck.🙂

What makes you think Chicago is that much stronger than Cleveland?

Also, what exactly happened in that Warriors trade to make them lose that much?

I just have to say it!
I really think Hibbert & West are going to absolutely dominate the paint out there.

And honestly, even without Granger in the lineup, I still see this one happening.

Orlando vs. Denver 2
Short and sweet—Denver’s got this in the bag, and Orlando? Honestly, they look way weaker than they did last season... I mean, they lost some massive pieces—guys like Dwight Howard, Al Horford, and maybe even someone like Buddy Hield—and while they picked up some decent role players, the overall vibe just feels off. To make matters worse, they're playing tonight without four key guys due to injuries. On the flip side, Denver should be pretty much at full strength, minus Mozgov, and word on the street is Gallinari might actually suit up... anyway, yeah, I'm calling it now—expecting Denver's first W of the season tonight.

Keeping it simple: Denver’s got this. Orlando is looking weaker than last year. They lost some heavy hitters—guys like Dwight Howard, Thaddeus Young, and Buddy Hield—and while they picked up some decent role players, the roster just isn't there. Plus, they're down four guys tonight due to injuries. Denver should be basically full strength aside from Jokic, and word is Gallinari's good to go. Basically, I'm calling Denver's first W of the season tonight.

I remember one night I put my whole parlay on just Denver... and here we go again. There's no way they play as trash as they did last time with all those turnovers.🤷

Exactly. 👍

I am currently monitoring an OKC parlay on my betting slip, and I was wondering if those of you who follow the league more closely could offer some insight regarding the probability of them failing to cover tonight. 🤷
If they happen to underperform against Portland, I could potentially secure a very substantial payout.

jadesailor said:I'm sitting here staring at an OKC parlay, and for those of you who actually know their stuff—what are the odds this doesn't hit tonight? I mean, if I take Portland at +4.60, I could pull off a pretty sweet little windfall 🤷

So, look, generally speaking, Oklahoma is looking way weaker than they did last year after that trade where they let Harden walk... the bench depth just isn't there anymore, and honestly, I'm kind of worried Westbrook is gonna go absolutely rogue tonight, which is usually a recipe for disaster since if his shot isn't falling, he basically becomes a liability... on the flip side, you've got a Portland squad that’s young and loaded with talent, and those guys can beat anyone on any given night. But then again—and this is the thing—Oklahoma is a beast at home, whereas Portland struggles big time on the road and plays way better in their own arena... so, I guess my gut says Oklahoma takes it tonight... though, hey, if you're playing with more serious cash, maybe you could hedge your bets by putting a smaller amount on Portland just to be safe 🤷

Honestly, Denver should walk away with an easy win today. Danilo is back in the rotation for Friday night, and Orlando is basically playing without any bench depth—Ali Harrington, Ayon, and those two solid rookies, Jones and Harkless, aren't even available for this matchup.

Nuggets lineup: Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried, Kosta Koufos, Andre Iguodala, Ty Lawson.
Magic lineup: Hedo Tukoglu, Glen Davis, Nikola Vucevic, Arron Afflalo, Jameer Nelson.

Paul Pierce over 20,5 @1,85
-The Milwaukee Bucks had one of the worst defenses in the league last year when it came to stopping scoring from the small forward position. Pierce got off to a solid start against the Miami Heat with 23 points, but obviously, he had to deal with Lebron James and Shane Battier—defensive stalwarts who are a massive step up from whoever the Milwaukee Bucks players will be tasked with guarding tonight. I’m expecting a high-scoring affair, so we'll likely see more player overs than unders.

Al Jefferson over 17,5 @1,85
-Al had a rough start to the season against the Dallas Mavericks, but I'm expecting a big bounce-back tonight. With Davis likely guarding Millsap, Jefferson should have a slightly easier ride. Given that the New Orleans Pelicans were struggling with paint protection and center defense last year, and they've now lost Kaman, this could easily be a game where both Al and Paul crack the 20-point mark.

Lamarcus Aldridge over 20,5 @1,85
-Lamarcus didn't look amazing last game—19 points with only 3 rebounds, and he barely even got to the free throw line. The Lakers guarded him well, but tonight he runs into Ibaka, who wasn't exactly a defensive rock last season. Plus, Oklahoma City Thunder were among the five worst teams at defending the power forward spot, and it's worth noting Ibaka tends to pick up a lot of fouls. Batum stood out against the Lakers, but facing Durant tonight will be a different story, so I expect Aldridge to carry the load. Worth a shot; just hoping OKC doesn't run away with it early and force him to the bench.

Dwight Howard over 21,5 @1,85
-Dwight has put up 19 and 33 points so far. In that 19-point game against Dallas, he ran into foul trouble and had to sit early with 6 fouls. That shouldn't be an issue tonight since he's matched up against DeAndre Jordan, who isn't much of a threat to his offensive rhythm or foul situation (unlike someone like Tyson Chandler). He should get plenty of trips to the charity stripe, and I think he'll deliver better than he did against Dallas, where he went 3/14.🙂

Rudy Gay over 20,5 @1,85
-Rudy looked good opening with 25 points against the LA Clippers. He should be the primary scoring option tonight because Bogut is slated to guard Gasol, which might take some pressure off. Besides, the Golden State Warriors' defense was pretty thin at the small forward position last season, ranking among the bottom three teams for points allowed to SFs. Let's give it a go and see what happens.

@21,67 Good luck!!

Keith Moore21 said:In general terms, the Oklahoma City Thunder are a weaker squad than they were last season following the trade that saw them lose Harden. Their bench depth has diminished significantly, and I harbor concerns that Westbrook might increase his erratic style of play, which rarely yields positive results because if his shot isn't falling, he becomes quite ineffective. On the other hand, we have the Portland Trail Blazers, a group that is young and possesses considerable talent, capable of defeating anyone on any given night. However, Oklahoma is notoriously difficult to beat at home, whereas Portland struggles considerably on the road and performs much better in their own arena. Consequently, my assessment is that Oklahoma will likely secure a victory tonight; though, if you have a larger bankroll for betting, you could perhaps hedge your position by placing a smaller wager on Portland. 🤷

thanks 👍

I am curious why this isn't available on ESPN🙂
