He can definitely sell it... but how long has it actually been sitting on Craigslist? If you're looking for a quick turnaround, just drop the price a bit and it'll move. Honestly, I think you could $233 (try starting at $800, then scale back if nothing happens after a few days😉) get. Most of these go for around $685, though some people list them as low as $650.

If you're looking for a quick exit and need the cash immediately, just drop the price and it'll move. Personally, I think you might be able to $233 (try listing it at $800 first, then scale back if it hasn't moved in a few days😉) to get what you want; typically, those models go for around $6,850, though some people list them as low as $650.

But which one should I actually pick up?

I am undecided; perhaps if it were under $600 I would consider it, but I wouldn't go that high.

Pairing two 7770 OC cards together works wonders.🙏

Not everyone buys a card just to push its limits. Maybe someone’s just looking for a smooth gaming experience—something where both the hardware and the drivers actually play nice together.

In my book, Intel takes the lead there. I’ve gone through five or six Intel cards over the years and never once ran into driver issues... whereas with AMD, no matter how good the raw performance was, those drivers absolutely sucked the joy out of life. 😳

That was definitely my experience with Intel back in the day (around 2006–2010); I never dealt with endless BSODs. 😬

I haven't seen a Blue Screen of Death since I got this current one, which I've had for almost three years now. 😁

I'm not sure—if it’s up to $600, I'd probably drop that much.

Running a pair of overclocked 7770s in Crossfire is actually pretty impressive. 🙏

I've checked out some benchmarks myself, and those Crossfire results looked solid. Just borrow a rig from a buddy and test it out like they suggested. If it performs well, don't pay more than 600-$217 max.

Perhaps you should borrow a rig from a friend and run those tests just as someone suggested to you. If the performance meets your expectations, I would suggest offering no more than 600-$217 max.

The dilemma now remains: should I stick with Crossfire, or would it be wiser to simply purchase this http://www.bestbuy.com/product/graphics-card...
?

It's a bit more expensive, but honestly, it's the better choice
$33 🙂

EVGA recommended Power Supply: EVGA 650W PSU, whereas I am currently running an EVGA 600 w CX

If my intention is to purchase this card, I suppose I must also invest in a new power supply; wouldn't it be most prudent to simply address the issue once and for all by upgrading?

If I decide to pick this card up, I’ll probably need a new power supply too—might be best to just grab one and solve the problem once and for all, right?

That card pulls about 175W TDP under full load. Since you're running an EVGA 600 w CX instead of some random no-name unit, you've got plenty of headroom—so the PSU won't even break a sweat. Honestly, there's nothing to worry about here.🙂 Even if you were running a 500W unit, it would likely handle it just fine without any issues.

It would actually work fine even on much weaker, high-quality power supplies.

Sapphire (OC)
Gigabyte

Personally, I’d go with the overclocked version.

That’s what I was thinking too... But seriously, is this EVGA GTX 660 actually any better than the ones mentioned above?
And just how much weaker is the EVGA HD 7750 compared to those other options?
Basically, is it even worth shelling out $50 more money for an MSI card, for example?

The GTX 660 is way faster than the 7750, so if you're looking at $17 I guess you might as well just grab the 660 right away.

I’m with fadedorca66 on this one—if you can stretch your budget just another 50 bucks $33, honestly? Just do it. You'll have much more peace of mind later on. 🙂

Thanks. My only real concern is whether my CPU is actually going to bottleneck the GTX 660, since I'm currently running a Core i3-2100. That’s why I’m asking—just how much weaker is the EVGA 7750 compared to the MSI model?

Man, you’re definitely going to be swapping out that CPU again soon—which means your current GPU is just going to be a massive bottleneck... honestly, don't head down that road. 😁 You can actually snag this one on sale for $323: http://www.amazon.com/?id=graphics-card-deal

You're right... fair point. I knew about that sale, but unfortunately, it only applies to in-store purchases, not online orders. Since shipping is my only option here, it’s a total bummer.

edit: Wait, scratch that—turns out it actually works for online orders too. Just tested it out. 😁

Alright. I picked up a new one today at Dell. graphics cardHere’s the issue. I’m running two monitors that used to connect via analog adapters to my old graphics card. This new card has a DVI-I port, which lets me plug in one monitor just fine, but the second port is a single-link DVI-D. My monitor—or rather, my adapter—doesn't support that. What's the move here? I still have an HDMI port and an HDMI 1.4 port available.

I could just plug this adapter into the HDMI port and hook up this. It’s the cheapest way to do it. Cheaper than this.

2 options

1.

2. with an extra fee

The second option is cheaper, but if I've got the cash, I don't care about the price tag.🤣
