Best movies from the 2000s?

Rocky Balboa and Rambo 4 are easily the best movies of the decade. ☕

I find myself most drawn to the work of David Fincher. While films like Panic Room, The Social Network, Zodiac, or even The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo from 2011 might not be considered "essential" by some standards, I believe they are orchestrated exceptionally well, at least according to my own particular sensibilities and taste.
I also found myself quite taken with There Will Be Blood directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
Furthermore, German cinema and Fatih Akin have brought me much joy, specifically with Head-On. Additionally, Good Bye, Lenin! was an incredibly fun experience to watch.
I have noticed a certain influx of superhero movies lately, a genre that wasn't really present in this publication before, certainly not with such massive production budgets. I am certainly not suggesting they are bad—in fact, Watchmen was quite entertaining to me.^^

Regarding technical innovations, the rise of digital SLR video cameras has been absolute game-changing. The sheer accessibility of the RED Scarlet and similar models—largely due to the ease of renting them out—has shifted everything. For instance, take a film like A Mexican Film which was shot entirely using a RED One camera that they likely just rented, though I haven't actually sat down to watch the film itself.
