Ugh, here I go again, second-guessing everything and then chickening out at the last second—it always screws me over! But whatever, today I’m teaming up with my brother to get this right.
Granger over 18.5 @ 1.85
-Man, after that absolute disaster of a game against Philly where he looked totally lost, dropping only 4 points on a pathetic 2-for-12 shooting night and snapping that massive 14-game streak of hitting 18+ points? Yeah, not pretty. Today is his chance at redemption, especially since he still owes us from those two previous games where he only hit 13.5 points while shooting a miserable 30%. I’m expecting him to make up for that embarrassing performance from a few days ago by absolutely unloading on them today.
Memphis (190.5) vs. Cleveland Under @ 1.85
-The Grizzlies are riding high on four straight wins, while the Cavs just came off a high-scoring shootout in San Antonio, so I’m calling it now: fatigue is going to be a huge factor. Between that and Memphis having one of the nastiest defenses in the league, I don't see the Cavs being even remotely as efficient as they were last night when they dropped 98. Plus, the Grizzlies aren't exactly known for running a high-octane offensive system, so I’m eyeing something around the 180 mark.
Iguodala over 13.5 @ 1.85
-This game is huge—win this and they clinch a playoff spot. Given how hot he’s been lately, putting up 16, 19, 23, and 15 in his recent outings, combined with the fact that the Nets are basically a ghost town right now missing half their roster, I really think he can cruise past this margin without breaking a sweat.
Ellis over 16.5 @ 1.85
-Look, the Bucks are basically living on hope at this point; for them to even make the playoffs, they’d need to win all three remaining games while praying Philly loses all three of theirs. So, logically, Ellis needs to step up and join forces with Jennings. After two back-to-back dud performances where he only managed 12 points against the Nets and Indiana, he should be back to his usual self—remember that 20-point game against Toronto? He needs to channel that energy.
Gay over 18.5 @ 1.85
-His form over the last ten games has been insane—averaging 22.6 points on 51% shooting—and he already put up 26 against them recently, even if his shot wasn't falling (8-for-20). Against a struggling Cavs squad that honestly isn't built to stop anyone, he should have no problem clearing this line.
Doubling the standard unit today, let's go!
Nice one, Dana Baker2, glad to see someone actually caught a winner! Let's see if we can grab another win from the bookies today.
