Look, if you think he’s going to drop another 57 points, I honestly have my doubts, but hitting the over on 23.5 seems like a pretty safe bet.
The Charlotte Bobcats actually made things easier for him by basically letting Deron Williams run the show instead of forcing the rest of the squad to get involved in the scoring. Personally, I think he should easily cruise to at least 25 points; even if his jumper isn't falling, both teams are aggressive enough with their fouling that he'll rack up plenty of free throws, making this line feel like a total steal. He’s such a beast in isolation and as a pick-and-roll ball handler, and looking at the Charlotte Bobcats roster, there really isn't anyone who can shut him down. Plus, Deron loves to feast on teams hovering under .500 (averaging 27.1 PPG), mostly because those defenses just aren't disciplined enough to stop him. 🤷

Last three games—he's been dropping 25, 29, and 24 points... easy stuff.
The Nets are playing defense like they forgot what a hoop looks like lately, so the small forward matchup should let Corey cruise right into the over.
Plus, the guy plays way better at home—averaging 17.5 there compared to just 13.8 on the road.
In their last outing, the Nets surrendered 24 points to him alone.
Seems like a total lock to hit.

Man, this guy is absolutely locked in right now. Last three games he put up 33, 22, and 29 points... and honestly, looking at his last 10, he’s hitting the over almost every single night.
He's facing Oklahoma City Thunder, and we're expecting a total shootout here (looking like 200+ points), and whenever the game goes high-scoring like that, Jamison's average jumps to 24.3.
And don't forget, Oklahoma City Thunder gives up about 22.2 points per game to the PF position.

Charlotte Bobcats vs New Jersey Nets over 192.5

They played Sunday and it was a tight 101-104 affair.
The Bobcats are finally finding their rhythm, and you can tell they're actually healthy because they've been putting up numbers—93, 100, and 101 in their last three.
They were really missing Corey Maggette and DJ Augustin, so having them back is massive for this squad—those two combined can easily drop 30+.
Meanwhile, the New Jersey Nets have been giving up over 100 points in four of their last five games... okay, five of their last six.
Expect another wide-open game with tons of scoring here, especially since these two teams are basically evenly matched right now.
What do you guys think? This one is screaming "over" to me... feels pretty solid.🤷

Rubio’s been playing pretty solid lately. He hasn't been racking up the assists big time, but he’s been getting some really nice drives to the rim during games. Plus, let's be honest, the point guard spot for the Lakers is such a massive defensive hole right now that he might actually find more ways to score than usual tonight

When these two teams played last time, Deron went absolutely nuts and hit a career high. I mean, the Bobcats give up way too many points, especially against point guards, so maybe Deron just has one of those crazy nights again. It wasn't quite like what we saw a few days ago, but I’m definitely leaning toward the over here😍

Rubio's been playing great aside from his assist numbers he's had some killer drives lately, and we all know the Lakers have a massive hole in their defense at the PG spot, so he could easily drop more points than usual today

Deron just hit a career high in the last matchup between these two, plus the Bobcats give up way too many points to PGs, so Deron might have a wild night tonight—not quite like a few days ago, but definitely an over play😍

I'm not saying your picks won't hit (honestly, I like both, especially the second one), but some of this just doesn't add up.

1)The Lakers are actually among the best in the NBA at defending the PG position. Rubio has gone 3-8, 1-7, and 1-8 over his last three games, and in two of those, he only managed 4 or 6 assists, which is honestly depressing.
2)Charlotte is pretty much mid-tier in the NBA when it comes to allowing points to PGs.

If you really think Portland might hang around, I'd say betting the 2-point underdog at @2.30 is a better move than taking +3.5 at @1.85. Long term, those small spreads aren't worth it compared to the value there.🤷 Personally, I could see this one dropping under 184.5, which is what SS has set.
