I’ve got a bit of a hunch that Windows 7 isn't going to run at its best on your rig. Since your setup is already about five years old, most of those hardware specs were really built with Windows XP or Vista in mind.
What kind of processor are you running?

If you're looking to dig into your system details, honestly, you might want to grab Everest instead. It does a deep dive into your hardware just like Speccy, but I personally think it's a step up.

Also, you definitely need to hunt down some driver updates. The ones you're using right now are ancient.

If you want, I’d suggest downloading Everest instead; it also handles deep system analysis, and I suspect it might actually be more effective than Speccy.

And you definitely need to update your drivers, because yours are ancient.

Intel Core 2 duo E4500 @ 2.20GHz
Conroe 65nm Technology
RAM
2.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 199MHz

Graphics
M1921A (1280x1024@60Hz)
512MB Radeon hd 3600 Series (ATI AIB)

There, I just copied that from the program...

Look, I am fully aware of the limitations of my machine. I know all of that, damn it, but it's going to have to hold out for a little while longer until I can afford to pick up something new. Anyway, I'm not expecting it to fly like a rocket, since I know it won't, but I'm hoping it'll at least perform better than it does right now...

I have people around me with computers just as old as mine—actually with even worse specs—and yet Windows 7 runs better on their machines than my current Windows XP does on mine... Dammit!

Alright, this might just work.
I dropped the link above with the recommended system requirements if you want to run Windows 7 smoothly.

Look, I know my current rig is pretty rough, but I’ve actually got a new one coming in soon anyway.
Either way, you'll probably see better performance than you did on Windows XP; honestly, having a dual-core setup with 2GB of RAM should be plenty for Windows 7.

Where did my question go? I was asking about the issues I'm having while trying to install Windows 7. 😢
