I don't buy it. It won't be easy. Honestly, the line looks exactly how I would have set it myself. Forget about the home and away stats for a second; those aren't the only things that matter. Sure, the Spurs are the better squad, but that spread is massive, and they’re heading into a heated state rivalry game against the Houston Rockets tomorrow.

They could easily cover by 25 points—this isn't rocket science—but calling this a "super play"? No way. Not in my book.

If you look at all those games where they were supposed to be heavy favorites, most of them ended up being decided by just a couple of buckets or so—take OKC against Washington last night, or Houston...

I'm just trying to make the point that with this condensed schedule, fatigue is a real factor. Nobody’s really out there trying to run up the score or play overly aggressive against an opponent they know they can beat anyway.

Those massive ATS spreads are going to see a major correction long term before this season wraps up. There's no way they stay sitting at a total of 58% probability.

SU just stands for straight up win, basically the standard moneyline
ats= against The Spread, which is whether a team covers the handicap or not
you can basically figure out the odds from the spread; for example, a -4.5 spread usually sits around 1.45
it's about whether the line on a specific team or situation has been undervalued or overvalued
meaning, did the market underestimate them or overestimate them?
in a real-world scenario, if you were betting on the road underdogs, you probably weren't having much luck

when I'm in a rush, I tend to type these abbreviations out reflexively, so my bad

I might miss one, but that’s not the point. The goal is maintaining a 10%+ ROI. That's the job. 😁

But I'm being way more selective now. I went too hard on baseball because it's been my main obsession for the last three or four years, and man, that absolutely wrecked me during the first month. I am not letting that happen again this season.
