Michael Stewart3 said:Yeah, but his injury just went south overnight. It might actually be because he was grinding through those 42 minutes on the court. So, I’m leaning towards him getting way less playtime today.
Man, you really just threw a wrench in my theory there, didn't you? 🙂

look, it's not even about me😍,I'm just saying he might end up sitting out entirely at this rate🤷,you never know with this guy—like, look at James Taylor3 missing a whole game and then dropping thirty points the next thing he knows, or how Wade went off for thirty plus yesterday even after being benched for a couple games, this league is absolutely mental🤷

stormyseal9 said:I honestly can't wrap my head around why they're still riding with Rose as the starter when he’s been averaging basically 30 points against the Wizards over their last seven matchups. It feels like we're watching a guy play at an All-Star level while the coaching staff is just staring at him blankly. Like, if you had a guy putting up those kinds of numbers in a local pickup game at a YMCA in Chicago, you wouldn't even think about benching him, let alone questioning his starting spot. At this point, it's almost baffling to see them hesitate when the stats are screaming for him to stay on the floor.🤷

I mean, I'm curious where you even pulled that stat from, because just because a guy is averaging a certain number doesn't mean he’s automatically going to hit the over this time around—it's definitely not a guaranteed bet.
My gut is telling me we're looking at a massive night for the unders tonight. Just feels like one of those evenings where everything stays quiet and nothing breaks open.

The article was published on January 25th. No injuries reported. 🙂
It's going under, period.
The other stuff might actually land, though, right? 🙂

My gut is telling me we're looking at a massive night of unders tonight, honestly. :P

My bad, I meant he's been averaging 25.1 over his last seven games, so yeah, that probably means he's got a real good rhythm playing against the Wizards.🤷(Rose has averaged 25.1 points in his last seven games against the Wizards.

Do I seriously have to commit a felony just to get you guys to admit that Rose isn't playing tonight?

They’ve got a massive, high-stakes matchup coming up this Friday against the Celtics, and there’s absolutely no logic in risking an injury against the worst team in the league.

Arthur Hill2 said:Do I seriously have to go out and commit some kind of felony just to get a decent seat for the Rose game tonight? Like, what is the deal with these ticket prices lately? Is there a specific person I need to take out to get a spot in the stands, or am I just destined to watch from my couch like a loser? Seriously, it’s getting ridiculous! What, he’s just not gonna play? Are you kidding me right now? Is he actually sitting this one out? You gotta be joking! Seriously, what kind of nonsense is that? After everything we've been through, after all the hype, he just decides to stay on the bench? I mean, come on! Who does he think he is? Does he think he's bigger than the game? It's absolutely ridiculous!

Look, I mean, what are we even doing here? One person’s out here claiming he's playing, then someone else is swearing up and down that he's sitting out, and then you go over to ESPN and see him listed as active... like, hello? Are we psychic now or what? We aren't freaking clairvoyants!🤷Man, just imagine if we could actually hit a +1000 underdog or somehow get everything to land at even money—wouldn't that be the absolute dream for everyone? Just pure, unadulterated bliss for once!

Basically, we're looking at the under. ☕ 🤣

EDIT: Maybe the Heat take the hit instead, considering how they looked in yesterday's loss?

Someone was asking about Indiana, so here's the scoop: Danny's back in action tonight.

Danny Granger (ankle) is active for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.

Huge win for Granger. He sat out Monday because of some nasty food poisoning, and then we all saw those rumors about his ankle flying around on Tuesday. Turns out it was nothing to sweat, though. If you're playing in a daily fantasy league, get him back in your lineup right now. He’s putting up 14.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 1.8 threes per game this season.

The reality is that NBA.com rarely updates their previews in real-time. I've heard from sources close to the Bulls that Rose definitely won't be out there tonight; it explains why they picked up that fourth point guard earlier today.

Exactly. Odds at one, and that's that.🙂

Thanks, Lawrence Castillo76, for the heads-up on Danny, though I already placed my bet on the Pacers at even money around noon.👍

Arthur Hill2 said:Man, NBA.com is such a joke—they seriously never bother updating their previews, right? It’s like they’re just coasting! I mean, people working around the Bulls already confirmed that Rose isn't stepping onto the court today, so it totally makes sense why they went out and grabbed a fourth point guard this afternoon. It’s not even surprising at this point!

Yeah, exactly! It’s a plus-one bet and that's the end of the story. Period. 🙂

Thanks for the heads-up on Danny, Lawrence Castillo76, though I already went ahead and played the Indy game once around lunchtime. 👍

Man, Danny is looking absolutely trashed lately. I mean, don't get me wrong, he’s always been a beast when he goes up against this specific team, but honestly? I don't see him hitting the over today. Actually, wait—is he even even listed on the board right now? Even if he is, I'm passing. And can we talk about these crazy lines they put out for the NHL today? It feels like every single player being offered is some random left-winger, and there's hardly anyone else worth a damn on the slate. What are they even thinking?🤷

Man, just watched the total fall through on DraftKings—Denver vs. New Jersey went under the 194.5 line at 1.7 odds. Total bust.

Based on everything I've been seeing in the news lately, Washington +21.5 @ 1.3 SS looks like a really solid bet to me.

I put together some rough ideas for tonight’s games, and hey, I also stumbled upon this awesome site that tracks player stats from the very start of their NBA careers all the way to today!

http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/

Anyway, I’d love to hear what you guys think I should throw out there. Any thoughts?

Good luck to everyone tonight! 😁

Adding these to the mix:

Toronto spread 1

San Antonio spread 1

Aldridge 22.5 2

And maybe a little tennis action for a small stake.

Also, the under for New Orleans was shaved down to 1.60. 🤣

If Rose stays off the court, I don't see Chicago covering the spread. We've seen this pattern before—either he sits out entirely or plays through an injury just to end up sidelined for thirty plus minutes later on. 😁

Just as we thought, Derrick Rose is officially out for Wednesday's matchup against the Wizards due to that turf toe issue. It's a total lock.

Boozer C (-15, 5+) vs Chicago - Boozer at 1.85 is looking like a solid play
141312.01. 02:00

Chicago (180.5) vs Washington - Washington at 1.85 feels like the better value here

At 3.42, I really think this one hits quite easily

EDIT: Also, grabbing Washington at 6.80 for the moneyline.

Lawrence Castillo76 said:honestly, watching Chicago play against the Wizards is just exhausting—I wouldn't even break a sweat watching this level of basketball, it’s honestly pathetic.

haha, you aren't wrong. This Washington squad is absolutely abysmal; they'd probably outplay a high school JV team if they had to, which is a low bar, but still. It's genuinely shocking how bad they look, and what's even more unsettling is seeing how poorly Chicago has integrated into their system lately.😂

The second Rose isn't out there on the floor, the whole offensive rhythm just vanishes into thin air.

And don't even get me started on the commentators... the way they're just ruthlessly tearing into Washington right now is kind of hilarious, if you can call it that. 😁
