Do you honestly believe Bryant is going to drop 451 points on Dallas??...😉

I guess I'm taking Kobe over, since playing against him isn't really an option and he's looking good right now. He’s shooting a lot and maybe the matchup against Dallas gives him extra motivation. I'll probably go lighter on Jennings; he struggles on the road and Philly plays such solid defense at home. I might also take Blake and Rose over, just a gut feeling. Looking at two from the Rockets because the Wizards are a mess, though I might try one for Chicago too. Maybe one for Philly. Not sure about Orlando—Melo might actually suit up, so those picks don't feel quite right, though I might still grab them... Wonder if Dwight goes over today.

Maybe Joe Johnson can carry them since Horford isn't there, but I guess Toronto might still give them trouble.

I think it’s worth taking a shot on Memphis tonight. Even though I was hoping for a better line, ml King is playing right there in Memphis, and the home crowd always seems to give them that extra spark. They usually come out firing, so I wouldn't be shocked at all if they take down a solid Chicago squad.

Boston under 92.5
I mean, only Washington and Detroit managed to score more than that, and even then it was just by a couple of buckets... I guess a tough, fast Oklahoma team might make it hard to hit that...

Only Washington and Detroit managed to clear that margin, and even then, it was only by a couple of buckets. I don't see a hard-hitting, fast-paced Oklahoma team pulling that off.

Look, my advice? Just skip it. Oklahoma plays such a fast-paced, run-and-gun style that their possessions only last about 10 seconds. Just take a look at those Boston scores for these two teams—honestly, you'll probably decide to pass on this one yourself. 🙂

I mean, I know they play that way, but Boston just isn't that kind of shooting team... you look at how they handled the Knicks at 92, or Memphis at home at 95, or even the Spurs at 96—those teams are just faster and have better shooters. Since the pace is probably gonna be pretty quick, I guess I kinda doubt the old guys from Boston will have a hot shooting night :/ but hey, anything can happen and nothing would really surprise me... though out of all today's matchups, this feels like maybe the biggest value pick to me... good luck 😉

Lawrence Castillo76 said:Your suggestion is basically saying don't bet on it because Oklahoma plays run and gun basketball and their offense takes 10 seconds. Just look at how they sliced through Boston and you'll change your mind. 🙂

Oklahoma plays R&G? You've gotta be kidding me.

Alright, I'm jumping in. In the West, we've seen 3-pointers being made at a rate that puts them second overall this season, but honestly, the real issue is just that the numbers look lower because it's a shortened season.

If you're basing your entire strategy on pure stats and thinking run & gun is the move, then fine, haha. 😁 I'm done arguing about this.

I'm leaning towards Oklahoma x2 today, though Boston under doesn't look half bad either...

I don't know. If my memory serves me right, the last time they played at home against Chicago, they ended up dropping it. And Chicago was missing both Boozer and Noah—it was Rose's first triple-double, if I recall correctly 🤔. Plus, they lost by 40 points last time they met, so maybe that’s exactly why there will be some extra motivation tonight 🤷.

Memphis is playing without Randolph, and Chicago is without Hamilton and backup PG CJ Watson. Both teams have already adjusted to playing without them
. Personally, I wouldn't put this on a serious parlay. I just tossed it onto a side slip as a fan bet.

Washington vs Houston 2 1.50

8/10
The Wizards are looking pretty rough heading into this matchup against Houston. I’ve caught a few Wizards games this season, and honestly, unless I'm betting against them, I just can't bring myself to watch anymore. When Young gets the ball, he basically just looks for any way to chuck it at the rim. Wall has some serious talent, but man, sometimes he plays so incredibly dense. McGee gives us a couple of flashy dunks and the occasional block, but that's about all he brings to the table. Lewis is long past his prime, and Blatche is constantly forcing shots that just don't go in. On the other side, when Lowry, Martin, and Scola are actually playing at their level, Houston becomes a nightmare to score against. In the Eastern Conference, they'd easily be one of the heavy hitters—not necessarily the absolute top seed, but definitely a lock for the first or second round of the playoffs. But out here in the brutal Western Conference? They're going to have to grind just to sniff a playoff spot. Every single game matters, and I guess they definitely don't want to drop this one, especially since it's such an easy road trip on paper.

Look, James Taylor3, we don't always hit the mark—it happens—but whatever, we'll make up for it today 👍
I honestly don't have the energy to sit down and write out a full-blown deep dive analysis, so I'll just keep it short and tell you what I'm putting my money on...

My main parlay is Chicago, Houston, and the Clippers... then on a second slip, I've got those plus some action on Orlando and Oklahoma, maybe a little water polo on the side too...

Regarding Houston, wiredcanyon39 already covered everything there—not much else to add to that logic...
For Chicago, even with Hamilton and CJ Watson being out, they shouldn't run into much trouble against Memphis. Like I mentioned in my preview, Memphis is in a massive bind because Randolph is sidelined. The rest of the squad looks decent, but probably not enough to handle a team like the Bulls. Rose really needs to go after Conley here. Looking at the shooting situation, the teams seem pretty evenly matched—Deng vs Gay at the 3—though I think Deng might struggle since he's facing such a threat without Randolph around. Down in the paint, Boozer, Gibson, Noah, and Asik should have a huge advantage against basically just Gasol. The rest of the Memphis frontcourt—especially since they're missing both Randolph and Arthur—is looking pretty thin...
Then there's the Clippers, who should take care of the Nets. From what I'm hearing, Chris Paul should be good to go, but if not, Billups steps in at PG, and Foye probably slides into the small forward spot... With Butler, Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan in the lineup, it should be plenty to handle a very struggling Nets team. I'm really hoping Paul plays, just so I can watch him and Brook Lopez try to outmaneuver each other and see who breaks first 😬
