How to run a second monitor via USB 3.0?

Hey everyone..

So here's the deal:
I've got an All-in-One PC with only five USB 3 ports. I need to hook up another monitor, so I'm wondering—can I actually pull that off using an HDMI to USB adapter?

I stumbled upon this one . Is this legit (like what the product description claims), or is there something else I should be looking out for?

$95 (41 USD) is pretty steep—at least compared to what you’d pay for some other (similar) adapters:

'your' - is that exact ('type a') USB 3 version actually what you need? (Fine, probably—you can see the shape for yourself)

'USB C/USB A'' for more options or maybe a better price—if that combo even makes sense at this point?

(Watch out for the actual USB type and the HDMI spec. Also, double-check the 'male' vs. 'female' distinction—meaning plug/socket—and the cable length if you're looking for that specific setup.
Pay attention, especially when ordering from Amazon or similar sites... for instance, the cable price might not be reflected in the main photo; they often charge extra per foot, where every additional foot bumps up the base price)
