Regarding this specific build:

Motherboard:
MSI X79A-GD65-8dfr soc2011 (military class III) + Thermaltake Frio Advanced CPU Cooler

CPU:
Intel Core i7-3930K

RAM:
2 X DDR3 8GB Corsair 1600 C8 VG

Graphics Cards:
2 X MSI R6990 4GB DDR5

SSD:
OCZ 240GB Vertex3

HDD:
2 X WD 2Tb, WD2002FAEX 64Mb SATA3

Power Supply:
Corsair 1200 w AX

Sound Card:
Creative Labs X-Fi Fatal1ty titanium PCI-e

Optical Drives:
2 X LG BH10LS30 Blueray DVDRW

Case:
HAF x 942 + Additional CoolerMaster Fan 200mm BlueLED

Gaming is my sole focus; nothing else interests me. Price is irrelevant. I am looking for recommendations on reputable US-based retailers. I require a 120 Hz refresh rate. My current setup includes a Samsung HDTV T27A750 3 D monitor. While it functions adequately as a television, it is an absolute failure for gaming purposes. Is it not better to retire it as a dedicated monitor and repurpose it as a bedroom TV for playing optical media? I am open to international vendors such as Amazon or eBay as well. It would be a shame to leave the potential of such a configuration untapped. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

So, your options pretty much boil down to this:

Asus PG276H
Acer HN274H 3D
Or those Samsung models—the S27A950D and the S27A750D -> http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php...&id=1294648344

As for where you're actually going to find them? Honestly, I have zero clue—I haven't seen any of these listed at my local Best Buy or anywhere else around here.

Where you can actually find them? I have no idea. I haven't seen any of those available here in the States.

So what I currently own is effectively the best option on the market. 😕 My interest lies in finding something comparable to this http://accessories.dell.com/sna/prod...9&sku=320-8846, but in a 27" format.

The monitor/TV I am using is a 60 Hz monitor. It only hits a full 120Hz when I strip away the extra layers to watch a Blu-ray. Therefore, I am not looking for a TV; I want a monitor. Similarly, 3D reproduction is irrelevant to me. I am looking for 120 Hz.

Wait, you mentioned that hybrid monitor/TV combo isn't any good for gaming—so how is this current setup "the best" then? 😕

Look, the stuff I just listed are 127Hz monitors in the 27" range. Apple was the first to drop a model in this category, and both Samsung and Dell have released theirs recently—there really isn't a massive selection to choose from in this specific niche. From what I could gather, the Dell model sits around $650, while the Samsung version is about $100 more, and I couldn't track down a price for the Apple one. These are dedicated monitors in the same class as the AW2310, not those weird hybrid TV setups.
