Only that Johnson guy seems sketchy to me—his game is too inconsistent and he isn't exactly in peak form right now. Then again, everything depends on whether he finds his rhythm early.
The rest? I'm riding with those picks too..

Yesterday was an absolute train wreck. I felt like I got screwed by basically every single matchup, usually missing out by just a hair—like 3 or 4 points. It’s enough to make you want to throw the remote through the TV.
For today, here’s what I’m eyeing:
Andre Iguodala (-14.5+) Philadelphia vs Indiana over 1.85
Joe Johns (-17.5+) New Jersey vs Atlanta over 1.85
Philadelphia vs Indiana Pacers 1 at 1.55
New York vs Charlotte Bobcats 1 at 1.15
Chicago Bulls vs Detroit Pistons 1 at 1.15
Total odds: 7.0157
The coefficients are from SS.

It’s possible.
He only put up 13 in his last outing, so he could be due for a massive breakout.
Plus, he dropped 32 against Charlotte last time—definitely tempting.🙂

Hey there, fellow NBA fans. I’ve been lurking here for quite a while, just watching you guys go about your business without really wanting to jump in, log in, and start throwing my own picks out there... but starting this season, I figured it was finally time to join the conversation. I'm mostly a tennis guy—I usually stick to doubles, so I'm looking at odds around 2.0—but I absolutely love the NBA. For today, I'm leaning toward Rose under 23.5. That seems to be the only margin left sitting at my local sportsbook; over at SS, they've already dropped it down to 21.5, same as the lottery books. So, I'm thinking his under and a single unit on Chicago. What do you guys think?

The Wizards are facing off against Minnesota, and man, Minnesota has been playing pretty solid this season, even if they tend to stumble a bit late in the game. Their defense is kind of shaky though—if I’m remembering right, they’re giving up nearly 100 points a night. The Wizards have been pretty rough lately and struggle to find any rhythm offensively, which mostly puts everything on young Wall's shoulders since he isn't getting much help from his teammates. Rubio and Ridnour should be tasked with guarding him, but honestly, I doubt they can really contain him; he's just such a superior athlete and one of the fastest guys in the league.

Howard over 21.5 at 1.85
7/10

Orlando is heading out to face the Kings in Sacramento. Their coach actually just got fired, but hey, they still managed to pull off a massive second-half comeback against the Bucks last week. They've got a reputation for being a sieve in the paint and defending terribly near the rim. Since Howard is one of Orlando's top players and their main leader, he's an absolute beast in the post. I'm thinking he'll grab plenty of offensive boards tonight and turn those into easy buckets.

Rough, real rough.

I don't really have the time to sit down and do a deep dive into the stats today, but I feel pretty good about these.

Atlanta vs New Jersey at 1.45
Aside from the Wizards, New Jersey is probably the weakest squad in the league. They're outmatched by the Hawks in almost every single position except for point guard. I seriously doubt they can do much damage to the Hawks, who have been a bit hit-or-miss this season.
8/10

Philadelphia vs Indiana at 1.55

Indiana is heating up and they've definitely added some talent, but I don't see them surpassing what they did last year. They play great at home, but they've been surprisingly bad on the road. Philly, on the other hand, has come out of the gates swinging this season with a winning record despite a tough schedule out West. I could actually see them being a bit of a surprise this year; sure, they might not get past the Bulls or the Heat, but they definitely have enough grit to hold their own against the rest of the East.

Is it just me, or is everyone finally seeing what I've been saying? It’s officially over for Melo. Seriously, the decline is impossible to ignore at this point. You have to wonder, though—was it always going to end like this, or did we just miss the signs along the way?
Is it just me, or is Bargnani totally overplayed right now? I mean, seriously, what are we doing here? It feels like he’s constantly being thrown into the fire without any breathing room. Does anyone else feel that sense of frustration watching this unfold, or am I just overthinking things?
I honestly think Al Herington needs to dial it back a bit. Does anyone else feel like he's just doing too much lately?

Is it just me, or is everything finally settling down? It feels like the dust is finally starting to clear.
Is it just me, or is the era of Love finally coming to an end? It feels like we've reached that point where you just have to face the music. What do you guys think? Is it really over?
J. Johnson is going under.

What do you guys think? 🤔

I honestly can't believe how wide that spread is. This game could easily swing toward 30+ points or get stuck at 10; I'd say it's a total coin flip. I decided to play it safer by taking Love under 24.5 and the Hawks at a moderate stake. Good luck to everyone.

Philadelphia
Chicago... man, where do I even start with them? It's a wild ride, honestly. Sometimes you feel like they're absolutely cooking, and then—boom—everything just falls apart in the most frustrating way possible. It’s that classic, rollercoaster energy that keeps you hooked even when you want to throw your remote at the TV. Just one of those teams that keeps you guessing, I guess.

That's a really solid call... the line on Love is definitely inflated because they're just looking at his season averages. Today's matchup against Toronto isn't even close to what we saw last year. The squad that was dead last in points allowed in the paint last season is actually leading that category this year. 😲 Their only real weakness right now is leaving way too much breathing room on the perimeter, so there's plenty of space to work with there. It looks like the Raptors coaching staff has shifted their whole focus toward defense rather than offense lately. Plus, with Beasley out today, Toronto is going to have more freedom to collapse their defense and gang up on Love.

The Hawks shouldn't run into any trouble against the Nets, especially since they've already handled them twice this season. 🤷 👍 ☕

My only concern is that he’ll end up seeing heavy minutes; the spread feels inflated, and he just isn't on that level where he can drop 25 points six or seven games in a row like Kobe could. He had his peak, but he's definitely cooled off. Yesterday was a disaster given how Howard played, and even Kobe ended up stuck right at 26, so I suppose we all feel a little better when it's just one bad outing. I agree regarding the Hawks—they shouldn't push it too hard against the Nets, who seem like the more talented and motivated squad right now. My only worry is there are just too many favorites on the board today; someone is bound to slip up.
